Eagles have a real problem getting down to 53 especially at RB

They have five running backs they would like to keep, odd man out will be Blount(former patriot) who they acquired in FA, and UDFA Corey Clement. I have no interest in Blount but if CClement is cut he is an upgrade in blocking and catching out of the backfield from current talent pool. As a runner he is equal to our backups. Worth keeping on your radar come cut down time.

Anybody else have a bubble player that will contribute to our talent pool if cut playing for another team?

If he's any good, they'll trade him because the Eagles always seem to be able to trade their cast-offs while we get nothing for ours.

That may seem true but I am not sure about this case. Clement is not to be confused with E Elliot more c.j prosise type talent. Either way if you are interested in the NFC east we should keep an eye out on their cuts.

Seahawks have him playing 4-3 DE, better as 3 tech.

Or any of the Ravens EDGE rushers.

Wasn't Jenkins on our team at one point? Name sounds familiar.

Clement is not a good blocker.

Smallwood is not a good blocker.

For some reason they keep trying to run Blount outside the tackles. That is not his game.

Donnell Pumphrey has speed but can't break tackles and has put the ball on the ground twice on punt returns. He needs another 10 pounds of muscle before he tries to be the next Sproles.

Byron Marshall was really coming on with the ST unit last year and showed flashes of power running but seems to be the forgotten man in camp for the Eagles.

Darren Sproles is the only Eagle back that scares me.

OKay did you mean Smallwood or Clements is not a good blocker?
Clements IMO can block, now whether he is termed a good blocker is another discussion, he provides more in blocking than any of the other backups for Zeke.

Neither one is good, blitzing LB's have blown both up all pre-season. I've seen all the games up here. They have issues at that position. Sadly for them, Sproles is their best blocker in the backfield in pass protection.

Watch our guys tonight and see how you think they compare. Not Zeke he is a god at blocking, watch the rest of the crew at RB.

Omg-Philly's Rb's stink, I think Smallwood might be Dallas fourth back...maybe.

Better than Philly's at pass protection. The only back they have that could make our team with any degree of certainty is Sproles. Maybe if they start using Blount in the proper way their run game will be better. It almost reminds me of Kelly trying to make Murray an outside the tackles two-cut runner. Not his game.

That was a sad time for DeMarco he never had a chance. I did notice our backup RB was responsible for a missed block last night that resulted in a touchdown...
