Well, if were gonna get morbid here..

How about some Jerome Brown autopsy photos?

Jerome Brown for team bus driver/pilot?

That is terrible.

Breaking a neck is NO WHERE NEAR as bad as killing himself and his nephew in a car accident.

Don't bring that up.

I thought it was a boating accident?

Still, a comment on Brown is the normal response to your brethren's posting of the photo where loser Tim Hauck went low on a Hall of Famer thereby driving his head into the turf and ending his career.

No it was a car accident.

These things are EXTREMELY different...Brown is dead, Irvin is a millionaire who has a job on ESPN.

Asking for pictures of a dead guy is wrong...with this comment? "Jerome Brown for team bus driver/pilot?"

There is life outside of football, ending someone's career isn't a tragedy, it's not good, but it's not life or death.

Irvin was very close to being paralyzed. This is our board. Don't if it was on any other team board I agree, but if it is in here, fair is fair.

Yeah and Brown was very close to being alive. Did it happen? No...So don't act like it did.

AJM, get it in your head. This is our board. Some eagle fan cracked a joke at irvin, he cracked a joke about Jerome brown. If it was any other team's board, it would have been uncalled for. Not on a cowboy board where it is a very touchy picture.

How many times have you heard C'boy and other fans cry about how the Eagles don't have a right to talk smack about other teams until they have an NFL Championship under their belt. Well ... here's some football hiostory for yas...

American football evolved from two sports -- soccer, and rugby. The sport called soccer in the United States is still known as football throughout much of the world. The first professional football game in the United States took place in 1895 in the town of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, between a team representing Latrobe (probably an early version of the Eagles) and a team from Jeannette (probably the steelers); both Pennsylvania teams. In the following years many professional teams were formed, including the Duquesnes of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; the Olympics of McKeesport, Pennsylvania; the Bulldogs of Canton, Ohio; and the team of Massillon, Ohio. Noted college players who took up the professional game during its early years include Willie Heston (formerly at the University of Michigan), Fritz Pollard (Brown University), and Jim Thorpe (Carlisle Indian School).

Later, in 1943 a team football team developed called the Steagles; the product of a war-time merger officially named the Phil-Pit Eagles-Steelers (the Steagles was honoured at a 60th anniversary bash before a Pittsburgh Steelers' exhibition game against the Philadelphia Eagles).

Four years later, the Eagles won their first NFL championship. After they repeated in 1949 -- the only time in franchise history they've won back-to-back titles -- Hinkle said: "The old Steagles -- that's where it all started."

We may not have won a "Lombardy" trophy yet, but we were winning NFL championships long before many teams -- including yours, were a franchise!

Keep it real.

Heres me giving a s***:

The lions have NFL championships does that give us the right to talk smack? We also won it two years after the Lions were formed so...

No need.

Every single poster on this forum could vote yes and his *** still wouldn't get back in thanks to Hos. It's good to be the mod.

Irvin, even though he is definately no saint, also was not driving over 100 mph recklessly with his nephew in the car, he was playing a GAME when Hauck drove his head into the turf when he was already down... there is NO COMPARISON.

Glad you busted that troll down to toilet scrubbing duty. He was always an idiot and really got on my nerves (unlike AJM).

His posts were worthless and incomprehensible.

The only reason I believe him about the picture is the he was such a moron, he probably couldn't read the name "IRVIN" upsidedown. :D

Seriously, though, there's no way he didn't know what he was posting. That Irvin injury is one of the proudest moments in Eagles history.

You're right it was a stupid decision on his part, he wasn't a saint, he made a mistake. I never brought up Irvin's off the field problems because I don't care, players have two lives, the NFL and whatever else they want to do, as long as it doesn't affect their play.

Brown killed himself and his nephew it was a dumb decision, if he didn't die he would have gone to jail.

You don't ask to see a picture of a dead guy because you don't like the way Irvin went out, and then make a joke about it.

It was a cheap shot but it was a legal hit, just like Foster on the Bengal's DT....

Our best defensive tackle just got in a car accident last night. Thank god he is okay, just a few scratches on his face.
