One thing that helps the Cowboys in this regard is the speed across the front seven. All our linebackers can run.. even LVE.. All the DEs can run.. though I doubt any of them except Parsons and Williams are actually FASTER than Rush, I think they all have enough short area quickness to go get him if he tries to take off. The other thing that I like about this matchup is all the DTs except Bohanna are good at getting penetration. Nothing screws up an offense like defenders in the backfield. Hill and Osa are especially adept at it. They just have to make sure not to widen so as to allow Hurts a lane to run up the middle. We've all seen that at times teams have been able to get outside on the DEs not named Lawrence. Gotta shore that up this week as I believe Philly is going to feature the off-tackle edge run to their left as the #1 play in their game plan. They are going to make us prove we have that figured out and if they can get us to overcommit to stopping it they will have cutback lanes or can run counters off it. Need to be assignment sound and not stay blocked if you're the backers.

I hope they are not healthy. Nothing serious but unavailable for the game on Sunday night. If you haven't noticed, our starting QB is out. NO ONE in Philly or the media talking heads will care Monday morning if the Eagles beat us. The poop will be flying about those 6-0 Eagles.

NO I will take all the excuses in the world as long as we win. We beat Philly in Philly with Rush and this team is instantly the #1 team in the NFC when Dak gets back. Heck, if not already if they win.
