I had to laugh when Kelly said the other day that other teams were offering a #1 for Bradford. Who is he kidding?

This is extremely odd consdering Pat Shurmur (the Eagles OC) was Bradford's OC in St. Louis his rookie season.

Kelly said during his PC the other day he's not trading Bradford he claimed some team offered a #1 for him. He went on to say he's not mortgaging the future to move up for Mariota. That's what he said we'll just have to see. He would pretty much have to mortgage the future to put himself in a position to get Mariota. Everything is pointing to Tampa taking Winston at #1 overall and Tenn at #2 needs a QB so Philly may have to move up to #2 which could get them fleeced. Bradford would be part of the deal along with several premium picks this year and next year.

I am upset with the Dallas off season so far. I am confused by Phillys......I cant make sense out of anything Chippy is doing.

I am thinking the Eagles are not going to be a factor for awhile and chippy will be gone soon enough...

The Giants. I will be paying attention to them. I can see them putting together a season.

That would be funny. Bradford was partially used to lure Murray away and now it's possible that Bradford won't even be on the team. Talk about pawn.

Bradford had no part in luring Murray... 40+ million dollars did that.

It seems highly unlikely that they acquired Bradford with intentions to trade up. Doesn't make sense.

The Foles/Bradford swap is a real head scratcher but the McCoy trade could turn out real well for them. The addition of Murray and Matthews could give Philly a great 1-2 punch at RB and they came away with a potentially great young LB in Alonso if he can return to the form he showed as a rookie.

True. But even when you factor in the "sticking it to Dallas" benefit, they over paid Murray......
I think long term the Eagles will hurt a little for that Contract.

I like Murray but I want the Eagles to fail. fail. fail. :):)

Yeah, this sort of maneuver seems most unlikely, As someone previously mentioned, Shurmur was there in St. Louis when Bradford won OROY, and likely had a great deal of influence in Philly's landing him.

It will take more than Bradford and what the skins did to get RGIII. The skins went 5th pick to the 2nd pick and gave two firsts, a 2nd, and some other picks. Going from the 20th pick to the 2nd pick will cost you s lot more than that.

Still not understanding why Bradford is a better bargaining chip than Foles.

Not to mention throwing away a 2nd round pick next year... The Eagles are really dumb

It was a reach that will probably never be attempted. Bradford as Eagles QB.
Chip had dreams of resurrecting Bradford.
He knee jerked his only "right now success" hope out of Philly with Foles.

Even if he gets Mariotta.
They aren't doing anything for years.

It's funny. The win right now scenario for them was Foles as starter and Sanchez as very capable backup.

Oh well.... Good for them.

It doesn't make any sense with Bradford coming off back to back ACL's and when you take into account he's never been a very productive or efficient passer. The Rams gave up on Bradford for Nick Foles for crying out loud. Bradford has a big arm and has shown flashes of being a very good QB but his lack of durability, production and efficiency along with his $13M price in 2015 wouldn't seem to make him a very attractive option to a team that would be in position to draft Mariota. I can't see Tenn parting with the #2 overall pick in exchange for an injury prone QB who's never played in a playoff game despite all the other picks they would receive when they're in position to draft one of the top QB's available.

Tenn just parted ways with an injury prone QB in Locker so Bradford wouldn't appear to make much sense for them after that ordeal. If you have the opportunity to land what could potentially be a franchise QB you don't pass them up for another injury prone QB who flamed out somewhere else and another team is trying to dump on you so they can get the QB you're in position to take. When you look at Bradford's injury history, lack of success in St Louis and the $13M he's due in 2015 I think Philly is stuck with him.

They overpaid him but it could pay off resulting in a shift in power between the two teams we'll just have to see how it plays out. The Cowboys overpaid Deion to steal him away from SF and that paid off. Being able to add your rivals MVP from the previous season to your arsenal can make a huge impact when the two teams face each other the following season. It's been very close between Philly and the Cowboys the past 2 seasons so that move makes them the better team at the moment. Now the Cowboys have to counter by finding a solid replacement for Murray in the draft to assure they maintain a strong running game.

The productive season Murray had is what put the Cowboys over the top in the NFC East in 2014 so his loss has left a big void that has to be filled if the Cowboys want to stay on top. As puzzling as the trade for Bradford looks it could work out for Philly if he can bounce back from his latest ACL and stay healthy. Philly was able to win games with Sanchez last season including a blowout of the Cowboys in the first game and Bradford is an upgrade over Sanchez. The loss of Macline will hurt Philly's passing attack so they'll have to rely on the draft to try and replace his production.

It's odd because it's not real.
They're not planning to trade Bradford.

Still can't believe they screwed over Foles like this.

Oh, I think Foles is beyond delirious over this. Much better team he's going to at this point. The Rams are ready to be a factor.

I've heard that phrase describing the Rams for several years now.

Poor Murray. Hope he's ready to take a beating.

He thinks he got booed at the UFC fight in Dallas? Wait til he averages 3 ypc in front of Eagles fans.
So he will still be cheered in Dallas and booooooed in Philly.
Keep the hard hat on while on the sideline Demarco.

I don't see it. Foles IMO would of been ideal for the Titans.

younger, healthier and this stage a higher upside.
