at first when i read the article i was in my usual "stop talking about what you don't understand" mode, but then again, i'm getting mad at what i read in the media about him getting mad about what he read in the media and decided my head hurt and i moved on and saved my phaux anger for another moment in my life more deserving.

He seems to be both praising him and giving him a backhanded compliment at the same time. I think if he had not used the word "lucky," there would be no negative slant to this ... which is what the writer focused on with his lead.

Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson said Tuesday that Greg Hardy is "lucky" to be playing in the NFL and that talent is the only reason he's still playing.

"He served his time," Johnson said, according to NJ.com, "he is lucky to be playing again.

"Its unfortunate the things that went on with him. I don't agree with hitting women or any domestic violence/ As far as the talent level, he has all the ability to be in the NFL...Greg Hardy is one of the best defensive ends in the league. ... Talent saved him."

The Eagles didn't face Hardy in the first game between the two teams -- a victory for Dallas at Philly. Johnson said he expects to be matched up with Hardy Sunday night in Dallas.

"He hustles," Johnson said. "People underestimate how hard he plays. He does well, he hustles. He is a guy with good talent."...

So what does he think about the allegations of Johnny Manzel smacking his girlfriends head against a window, and the NFL giving a Blandino type treatment to that.... i.e. it depends........
