WIP610 just announced that WR Kevin Curtis has a sports hernia and say that he will miss significant time.

That's a big time lose considering that Reggie Brown(Hamstring) Desean Jackson and Hank Baskett are their two top WR's.

Just came across this.

Kevin Curtis will undergo surgery to repair a sports hernia. Eagles coach Andy Reid acknowledged that Curtis will miss a "significant" amount of time.

Reggie Brown is also sidelined with a hamstring injury, so the Birds are currently down both their starting wideouts. Hernia surgeries aren't easy to recover from, although Curtis probably isn't in danger of being placed on I.R. He is very likely to miss the first few weeks of the season. DeSean Jackson could start in his place.

Thats what Kinsler has, but they said he may not need surgery.

Kinsler did not have a tear...it sounds like Curtis' is more serious.

If true, then they will get Boldin if Cards deal him. No way Dallas can get him

This really hurts Philly. I don't buy the "we're standing pat" line. I do think the Iggs are too conservative to give up what it'll take to get Boldin.

Plus he will want a new contract/extension and the Eagles won't deliver that after giving mucho $$ to Asante.

McPuke had this injury and you saw what it did to him.

Maybe they can compare scars in the shower? That would be touching.

this is not good.

For who? I don't think it's bad for anyone. Except for Kevin Curtis. Kevin Curtis blows like the wind. He is no Danny Amendola, that's for sure.

Danny Amendola had 1,200 yards by the 2 minute mark of the first quarter. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the refs asked him to stop scoring because they were running out of footballs after all the extra points.
