The Eagles are probably indifferent to playing one of the Cards/Rams/Bucs. Improved seeding means more to us as getting out of the tough 4/5 matchup should be a priority. We just need too much help.

It's actually pretty common for playoff teams to rest players the last week of the season when they aren't playing for a notably improved playoff seeding.

Hey, we might as well get a jump on being bothered by that now because if the Cowboys win we will have missed the chance.

Cowboys should rest everyone too. We get a free bye week...use it! Let the backups duke it out for potential seeding but it's really pointless to use this game for the starters to "get reps" when you've had the last month to do so. And so what if our starters end up beating up on their backups, we saw how little that carried over from Washington to Arizona.

What’s the difference… Lol. Actually if we don’t set ours then they should just for health reasons. We will use this as a feel good bounce back game. Our Defense will step up and go after the qb. Because they played weak and vanilla Sunday. Exactly the opposite. Should have went all out Sunday and rested players Saturday. But it’s a division game that means more to them some how than beating up a team we will likely face again. Maybe a mind game we are playing knowing there was a big chance we face them again so play soft and vanilla and almost win. Let them think they have the key and come out aggressive and fool them. Lol..

Dak will play.. Reminds me of the giants game that year. They rested everyone but Dak went out and beat the giants up using the middle of the field and the TE. May have been Jarwin he used. Was something he needed practice on at the time..

That’s the thing. You’re right. We need good chunk of help. Niners could beat the rams. They need to win to get in. Bucs seem to be in disarray with injuries and bad publicity but still have Brady. Jets were actually in it with them which is mindboggling
