Yeah I don’t know at this point because they sure didn’t play like they wanted to win Sunday. Had starters on the field but played like 3rd string players that didn’t care.. Played like that and ended up with Gallup done for the year..
By trying to win I only meant they would play starters. I agree they didn't look particularly sharp, especially on offense.

Yeah not sure what there mind set is. Afraid of losing another game and confidence going into the playoffs. Going is healthy is more important to me. Gallups injury will hurt us..

The NFL is an entertainment league first. I think teams who purposely sit players out in the last game should be fined and lose their next 2 round 1 picks…

It’s 100% reason this game was flexed to Saturday.

Dallas + Philly always equals bonanza ratings for the the broadcast. If they play at 1 or 4 they would scoreboard watch and say screw it if somebody gets up big or loses.

This way it forces both teams to play and not know any of the next days results

I read something this morning about the Cowboys being faced with decisions on playing starters, so it's possible they may be thinking the same as you that health is more important than potential improvement in seeding.

They just couldn’t overcome our talent. Mentally they were afraid of us especially Zurreline and his consistency. That is what a kicker can do to a team. He puts fear into the hearts of many.

I am seeing them playing them in the first half. We may have a drop off in the second half and lose the game and the sky will be falling. This is why I am upset about dropping the broncos and raiders game.

No, they don’t have control but they still may have a preference.
It’s why you beat the broncos and raiders and teams your supposed to beat. Even had a good chance at the chiefs. Had some real bad ref calls in those games but should not have been close.

yea the probably do but the game that decides their preference happens after theres so they have zero ability to even have a choice if they could beat us in the first place

The league office should have talked to the GM’s and HC’s to see what they were planning before they began flexing games for the first time in NFL history the last games of the regular season. Or they should have just left the games not involving making or missing the playoffs alone.

I thought we left the Saturday night preseason games behind in August?

Not about improvement in seeding to me but improvement in preparation and performance.

Which offense do we want? The one that beat up the fatigued and outmanned WFT or that mess that played the outmanned Cardinals.

To paraphrase Buddy Ryan, “‘no WFT in the playoffs”.

This is a fair point

My guess is they treat it like a bye week which isn't the worst thing. They're going to play on the road the whole way and there's really not a gap between TB/LAR. You could probably make the case you'd rather play TB anyway with how they've looked lately so that #7 seed is probably a better place.
