jeff garcia last season and now freely prove eagles are a better team without mcnabb.. and Jeff proved it wasn't a one game fluke. Freely proved it wasn't a one player fluke.

eagles next season will have a better record once they trade mcnabb to da bears

who in hades would TRADE for mcnabb after watching his backup play so well against the pats?

the only teams I could imagine doing this are the falcons and skins...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It's not a done deal yet, and living in the Philadelphia area, I can tell you that the people here are blinded by their love for McNabb. We can all hope and pray that McNabb plays through his entire contract.

Me and my Bro were talkin about this too. He kept on saying that they would of won if they had Mcnabb. I kept telling him that he was washed up and he would never off had a chance to do what his back up just did.

I remember that Mcnabb's record after they made it to the super bowl has been awful and posted here before. Does anyone know were I can find it so I can shut up Brother up.

My 12 year old brother is also a Philthy fan. He's seen the light on McNabb and wants Feeley to start the rest of the year.

Philly is downright dangerous without that cancerous slob. I hope they sign him to a 10 year extension!

It's an accuracy thing. You don't need a rocket for an arm if you're accurate and in that offense, accuracy means a lot.

I'm pleased that New England got so cocky that a .500 ball club that was tied for last place in their division (a "lowly" NFC team at that) was able to come to Foxboro with a backup quarterback and apart from his interceptions whip the Patriots in every phase of the game.

Can't wait to see what a healthy Colts team or Browns team does in the playoffs to them.

Sorry to break it to you eagles fans but that is as good as Feeley gets...enjoy it, because it wont last for long.

yet that is still better than McNabb.

It's gonna be real interesting if McScabb comes back and leads them to a loss at home next week against Seattle:devil:

McNabb has always been a class act. I don't like him as a player only because he beat the Cowboys so many times. I imagine he will handle himself well and give Feely a chance to provide a spark(i.e. McNabb will milk the "injured" ankle and thumb for a couple of weeks). The Eagles will cut him and he will go to Balt or Minn.

Class act, huh. Watch him whine if Feely goes on a winning streak with them.

McNabb is a fraud.

Many Kudos to Feeley for his performance tonight...

and at the same time... we know why he is a career backup

He BLEW that game at the end.... a smart QB drives a little slower (taking what they were giving him all night) and wins the game on that drive

I said after we played the Pats and I will say it again... the PATS CAN BE BEAT.... THE DALLAS COWBOYS CAN BEAT THE PATS. THIS will be realized in FEBRUARY.

McNabb is done in Philly....it's obvious this team performs better without him on the field.

Reed is done as well, doesn't mean McScabb and Fat Andy won't be back(God i hope so)

Ditto for Grubbsy/Crapbell & Chokelin/Mani'msuking

I'm praying all 6 will be back for another crap season in 08:laugh1:

Do I have to remind everyone that Feeley was cut by TWO TEAMS after he left the Eagles. Plus it's easier to play GOOD when you are in that back up role

He was traded by the Dolphins, not cut. and that has nothing to do with the fact that the Eagles have been a far worse team with McNabb in the lineup than without him the past two years.

Do I have to remind you that last night was about the best the Eagles have looked all season?

They played inspired football last night, without their self-appointed 'leader' on the field. Just like they did last season with Garcia at the helm.

That's not coincidence.
