ESPNews reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb (groin, abdomen) is unlikely to play during Week 11 against the New York Giants.

Mike McMahon was the one who came in after he was injured.

I think this goes to show that his injury after James hit him was just not McNabb Faking it like many are trying to say.

Whether anyone likes McNabb or not...one thing I would never question is his tougness or if he would fake an injury.

Mike McMahon was the one who came in after he was injured.

I kind of think Madden was right that they brought him in because he had a stronger arm to get the ball down the field last night.

Going into the game he was listed as the 3rd string not the 2nd.

However who knows now.

McMahon is the #3 though. He was in because he has a much stronger arm than Detmer and they needed to complete some big passes to setup any chance of a FG. If McNabb doesn't play, I'd be shocked if it wasn't Detmer starting.

did'nt the eagles go undefeated without Mcnabb a few years ago

the eagles were a much better team all around a few years ago. they are missing a bunch of good players who've gone elsewhere though free agency and stuff. guys like corey simon, freddie mitchell, mayberry to name a few are former 1st rounders contributing elsewhere. I'm sure there's a lot more.
