they were and still are over rated...regardless of who the qb was/is.

They went 7-10 with the worst starting QB in the NFL by a healthy margin. They were a 10-11 win team with even Fitz which is exactly where everyone had them rated in the first place. That makes them properly rated not overrated.

The Eagles got better this offseason no question, but lets not forget this team lost 8 games a year ago with 4 games against NY & Wash. Yeah they got hot at the end of the year, but 4 of their last 5 games were against the Jets, Washington, Giants, Washington. Not like they were beating any quality teams.

I don't view them as an easy W for two meetings this season, but I'm a loooong ways away from crowing them anything other than average.

I have us splitting the games this year.
Actually I usually have us splitting all our divisional games each year, unless some team is far above or below us.

In this case that would be the NYG, we sweep them again, or should. That is not a given. I have us splitting with Washington and Philly. I think we should take both games with Washington, but won't change it up yet.

For now, 4-2 in the division.

Young referred to the Eagles as a dream team. Lol On paper they appear to have closed the gap on the Cowboys. We’ll see!

Agreed. I think Washington is a better football team then Philadelphia.

they were over hyped all off season last year as a team to watch.
and i could be wrong but i think many in the media picked them to repeat as division champs.
many on here thought it was gonna be a decade of iron rule with that vaunted unscored upon defense.
none of that happened.
they were...like philly this year...
