I am not as much a X and O fan of football as I look for the intangibles and one of those is team body language.

If you watched them play the Pats, you saw a team dejected because they knew they could have won that game. The rumors about Wentz's leadership and locker room presence might be factual.

Did you watch those players and their lack of interaction with him? He's close to losing the belief of that team, if he hasn't already, and that's exacerbated by what Foles did for them. I think they like Foles as a QB and person better than Wentz, just from watching them with him.

They lose to SEA, it doesn't matter what the Cowboys do in NE. Their season is on the line because the team has doubt in it's QB and doubt in themselves as a team. If the Cowboys do win and they lose, that schedule is of little consolation to them. They will know they neither have the QB or the team to beat Dallas.

And it's just human nature. Your QB gets a big deal, high % of the cap and the entire team is going to expect more out of him than what he's been delivering. If he doesn't play well, if he turns the ball over, takes too many sacks today, they lose the game and he loses the team. A game like the one the Eagles have today is exactly why a team pays that much to the QB.

Isn't the contrast interesting? Before the season, all of the questions were about Prescott but we can't point to one loss and lay that on him. They cannot say the same for their QB. Which one looks like the 4th round pick?

Wentz stands and delivers today or they all fall down. Prescott might lose today but he will not lose the team.

Intriguing posit. I understood that Foles was let go because of his personality flaws.

Theyre not going to fold or collapse

It just wont happen not with a chance to catch and pants Dallas

One thing the Cowboys have is good team chemistry. You never hear anybody throwing shade on another Cowboy. Remember the baited questions about Zeke & Dlaw?

but it's fragile between the players and the coaching staff. I was surprised at how it had drifted when Garrett threw Austin under the buss for the punt return. Jason saved it with his press conference but they are one bad game away from it coming back.

The only thing Eagles fans care about is beating the Cowboys. If the team can’t do that, the fans will revolt. We are so in their minds it’s unbelievable. It’s a great thing.

Foles was let go because he was a $25 million hit to the Eagles salary cap when they were over the cap by about $13 million. The gave up the farm to draft Wentz so they have to give him the chance to become the franchise QB of the future.

The Eagles have some injuries to their WRs and they don't have a lot of depth there. But they are playing better defense and are still strong on the offensive and defensive lines. I would not count them out not matter what happens today.

If they lose and the Cowboys lose it just makes that Cowboys Eagles game that much more important. But after this week, the Eagles have a really easy schedule facing the Giants twice, Miami and the Commanders. No matter how you slice it they get to 9 wins. If they beat the Cowboys they will be 10-6 and own the common opponents tiebreaker which will most likely be the deciding factor assuming Dallas can get to 10 wins losing to the Eagles and Patriots.

If Dallas loses today, they almost have to beat the Eagles in Philly in December to make the playoffs. The loss to the Jets is getting bigger and bigger.

Lane Johnson is out which has typically been a huge problem for them. I expect the Birds OL to collapse and Wentz to be under pressure all game and chewing on grass.

Eagles losing today will be huge for Dallas.
Then all Dallas needs to do beat Philly and win 2 other games.
After we win today who is left to worry about? There's nobody left on our schedule that's scary good.

If we lose to either the Commanders or the Bears, then we don't belong in the post season.

The Bills, Rams & Philly games will determine where we end up, even if by some chance we don't win today.

I believed this same thing after the whoopin' the Cowboys laid on them earlier this year. I felt they were on the brink of implosion then, and their season going down the drain. And you know what happened since then? The exact opposite of what I thought. They went on a winning streak and actually as you said had a good chance of winning against the Patriots. As much as I may have also wished for an Eagles implosion, that hasn't happened. And I think it will still be a dogfight to the end for this division.

I thought the Egirls looked pretty good against the World Champs. Were in the game despite some poor performance. I look for them to be right there down the stretch. Worried they could win today.

We had them all but out the playoffs last year and they finished strong. With their defense and in bad weather near end of season could still be a force if they ever get offense clicking.

They can not continue to have their QB make poor decisions and bad plays and they also have a problem of dropsy with their best WR that can play. Jeffery dropped too many and Agholor took up where he left off.

Philly needs to lose because of their layup schedule after Seattle, other than us. And which Dallas team will show up for any game.
If they lose, they will be 5-6. We need to beat them, giving them 7 losses, and beating them twice.

By beating them we will be 7-4, so therefor needing 2 more wins to get to 9-7. Rather that comes against the Commanders and Bears, or today and then the Bills, Bears or Rams.
So we win the division. So yes those games for sure will determine it.

With the up and downs this year for this team, I think we can get 2 other wins. And beat Philly. If Not, we will need to win 4 or 5 games and have Philly drop one.
However with the way the Eagles been playing also, they could very well lose another game.

Basically if the Eagles win, we need to win, as if they beat us, we will need that 1 game lead. We both could end up tied otherwise, and both end up 5-1 in division play, but we will need to beat the Commanders again, then common opponents then I think conference records will be the tie breaker. We have a better NFC record right now I believe 5-3 to 3-4.

Not sure common opponents records, did not look. Wasn't going to take the time at this point.

Yeah, that Eagles team that beat GB is still there. Good thing they're playing Seattle so maybe they can be demoralized.

Oh and, the players on Dallas hopefully already have pants. I don't think the Eagles need to dress them.

Despite those flaws they were still in the game. And why I argued if they get their offense going could be a force.

In the meantime I’d say are still enough to get by Mia, NY and Wash and why a loss today is huge for us.

I can't see the eagles winning today.....they'll put pressure on what's his name at qb and it'll be over.

...they put all the eggs in one basket before they could count them all. What was weird, Foles is probably a better QB. But because the money was already dished out, it was the sunk-cost fallacy in effect.

Not saying that Wentz is bad, but Foles could deliver when it counted.

Eagles are a game and half from being division leaders and have an easier schedule than Dallas for the remainder of the season. They also have a head to head matchup against Dallas, not sure how they are dead in the sand.
