Eagles own Saints 1st rd pick

Their GM will be moving up to select a QB..........Ya his name isn't Jerry.:muttley:
The Gagles are looking to take over the NFC East for the upcoming years and they are not hiding this fact.
Our options are few as the Cap will have us handcuffed.

All we have to do is draft well, get a run stuffing DT, a CB in 2nd, back up O line We are right there with them. Player development has to be our key to success. How much can we save on cap space with Zeke contract running out?

Who was the decent team? The one loss Vikings or the 2 loss cowboys?

they have yet to trail in the second half and have been double digits ahead of every team the season… They actually get so far head that they seem to put it on cruise control…Which has allowed some teams to make a come back… At least until they decide to put the pedal down again and put them away. The playoffs are a long ways away and they could lose their mojo between now and then… But as things stand now they are the best team in the NFL

UNlike most on here, I actually have 4 games going on at the same time every sunday. Your description of them is not accurate. They didnt even dominate us with our back up. They hardly dominated the Lions or the Texans. Had the cardinals kicker made a fg, theyd have lost to the Crads.

In any event... they hardly have some guru GM... if they did, they would not be 31-34 over the last 4 seasons.

Cherry Picker are we? Did you know they are 44-37 last 5 years with a Super Bowl Win? 52-37 counting this year.

Considering they have been through 2 head coaches and 2 starting qbs during that run I think they are doing ok, obviously missed the pick with Wentz but recovered nicely.

He has looked great running that RPO this year. Don't think he'll ever be a very good pocket passer, which he will have to eventually become if he doesn't want to get killed.

Some interesting things in the philly media regarding Hurts as the season went on that seems to indicate the offense is still evolving:

"The first three games of the season, they ran 40 RPO snaps – that’s 13.3 per game and 19 percent of their total snaps. Since then, they’ve run 27 RPO snaps – that’s 5.4 per game and about 6 ½ percent of their total snaps."

"The first five weeks, Hurts ran 36 times on 1st or 2nd down – that’s 7.2 times per game. The last three weeks, that number has plummeted to seven rushes on 1st or 2nddown – which is just 2.3 per game."

"What’s most interesting is that the Eagles continue to use Hurts almost as much as earlier in the season on 3rd and 4th down, where he’s such a devastating weapon. In those first five games, he had 26 carries on 3rd or 4th down – or 5.2 per game. The last three, he has nine – or 3.0 per game. "

What big time free agent did the sign last year?

Do you man before last season or before this season. They brought in AJ Brown at 100 mill, Darrius Slay recently, that DT that has 5 sacks in the last two games (forgot his name) at 40 million. Every year they bring in high priced FA. I think their GM is up and down in drafting but he's always been the tops in the NFL at beating the cap.

When all you do is beat up on dumpster teams, you don't ever have to raise your level of play, and then a team who has been facing stiff competition all year walks in and kicks your *** up and down the field, you have to question whether playing in a tougher division helps. IMO, it does.

True, but there will be a year or two when you dont even make the playoffs because of it. Home field advantage is usually a good thing too.

They traded for AJ Brown and Slay…..

LOL cherry pick stats much… They’ve been double digits ahead every game, they have yet to trail in the second half… Yes some teams have me come backs… Come back‘s that were then squashed with extreme prejudice.

it’s almost like they got ahead so much that they get bored… But at the end, they put the gas down again and end it.

I think that we win on the 24th, but that’s mainly because we are home, playing on a short week, and it’s their third road game in a row. When we go in to Philly in the divisional round I don’t like our chances.… Obviously assuming relatively equal health

We shall see... but I like our chances a lot. If our team is healthy, we win. The Cowboys, with their back up QB is easily the best won of the year for them. Look at that schedule. It is almost laughable with how bad the NFL is this year.

If the raiders win today against Indy, saints will be third overall pick
