Eagles put SS Sean Considine on IR

Did this guy even have any business playing in this league? He made Roy Williams look like Ronnie Lott.

Eagles placed SS Sean Considine on I.R. with a shoulder injury on Wednesday.
Considine had been a popular whipping boy in Philly after struggling while starting for the first eight games of the year. His injury is to the left shoulder, the same one that ended his rookie season in 2005. Quintin Mikell will replace Considine in the starting lineup. The Eagles signed S Marcus Paschal from their practice squad to fill Considine's roster spot.

I think it happened on a sideline play where they were bringing down Barber. I'm not certain but I watched him walk back to the huddle and he was walking back with his shoulder hanging some what and he head down. Not moving it at all. I think that's when it happened but who knows for sure.

It's funny that you would put it that way. I could have sworn that Ronnie Lott has been quoted as saying that Roy was his favorite safety to watch in the league (at one point)...nice cheap shot.
