Eagles release Joselio Hanson

It could be interesting for sure, but he'd be our 4th CB most likely. Not sure he'd want to come to Dallas.

Maybe a team like the Giants pick him up? He'd probably get more snaps. Just guessing, however . . . .

On February 20, 2009, Hanson agreed to a five-year contract with the Eagles, worth $21 million.[1] He was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent the following week.

On November 11, 2009 it was announced that Hanson was to be suspended for the next four games of the season due to failing a drug test before the NFC Championship the previous season.[8] On December 7, Hanson had his suspension lifted, and was able to play on the active roster for the remainder of the season.

Hanson was released on September 3, 2011, during final roster cuts.

He is better then Ball and we need some quality depth given the injuries to Newman and Jenkins.

Not every one....Just the great NE and Eagles noteworthy cuts.... :)

But give me a break man.....Ive read here way too many times that these so called great Front Offices dont make this types of mistakes.....

So in light of bashing Jerry and the Cowboys ruing the day when they cant get a draft pick for a player cut......Ive decided to have a little fun :)

But they've been cOnsistently better over the years. Hard to argue that.

Hey, if it makes you feel better about what this team has done for the last 16 years in comparison to what those teams have done, feel free.

I liken it to sticking your fingers in your ears and going lalalalalala.

I would knock Ball, Thomas, and McCann over as I rushed to the phone to call his agent!!

I wanted to trade for this kid a couple of weeks ago.

Btw, he has as much experience in Rob's defense as our starting corners!!

and your point is?

They havent really drafted better the last several yrs...and last time I checked the Eagles havent won crap.

The point being made here was.....these teams can release players...miss on high draft picks ....and its all cool...

But the Cowboys do and its doom and gloom.......

Plus he is great in the slot which would give them flexibility to move Scandrick outside if Newman continue to struggle with injuries etc..

Tell me again what the Eagles won?

Why the plunge in FA to fill roster spots? if their Drafting was so great?

Again...the point was....Im tired of hearing the constant bickering about losing a draft pick....not being able to trade a player being cut....How stupid our mangement is....etc...

But when other teams do it.......its all ok....

It makes way too much sense. That's why he will be covering Miles in the slot when the Giants pick him up.

If we brought him in I would feel soooo much better about that backfield.

Playoff records of NFC East teams last 2 seasons
Eagles 0-2
Commanders 0-0
Giants 0-0
Cowboys 1-1

Exactly what have the Eagles done that is so amazing?

And it could save having to use a relatively high draft pick on a CB in next year's draft as well.

We could have our top 3 CBs set for next year even with Newman moving on.

It would basically give us a bit more flexibility come the draft.

But I'm still not sure Hanson would come to Dallas if he's the 4th CB because he could probably be the 2nd or 3rd CB on another team, imo.
