If the Cowboys beat the eagles later this year. And the cowboys are still not 10-6. Then that means they blew a bunch more winnable games and don’t deserve to go anywhere anyway.

The cowboys have 2 games against the giants and Commanders.

they have one against the eagles.

they have 6 more against mid level Or good teams.

if the cowboys beat the eagles and can’t go 5-3 in the rest of the games. It’s a big problem regardless.

the point I’m making is. Dallas would have to fall apart, in order to not win the division, IF they beat the eagles again. They can afford to be one game down going into that eagles game thanks to already beating them once.
