BTW-does anyone else find it laughable how the Eagles sports media and their fans go from crying and whining how the Pats cheated them out of that Super Bowl to NOW foaming in the mouth over getting Asante Samuel? Oh wait-I thought Samuel BENEFITED from the Pats' cheating? No?

Wes Welker seems to fit right in up there in Boston where their superiority complex is at an all-time high after an orgy of championships. Welker commenting on the departure of Asante Samuel in the offseason:
"Asante's a great player, so it hurts not to have a guy like that. But then again, it's part of the business of the game," Welker said. "He chose money over championships, and that's the way it goes sometimes."
Really? Money over championships huh? How many championships has Wes Welker won in New England? The same number Asante Samuel has won in Philadelphia to date. ZERO.
In fact, Welker hasn't won squat since his Junior year in high school when his varsity squad took the Oklahoma 2A championship (whatever that means). In college he played for Texas Tech......yeah.
Asante Samuel's got 2 Super Bowl rings. Maybe he's got a beat on where the next ring is coming from.....at least one can dream.
Boston is way overdue for a karma adjustment. Watch those knee ligaments Brady and company.
