Last 6 regular season games vs the eagles the cowboys are 1-5 vs the eagles in Dallas. And 0-3 in the last 3 games in vs the eagles in Dallas. But it should be different right since we have dak right? That stat makes me scared about the eagles game. We even lost to the eagles in 2014 in Dallas, the year we finished 12-4.

But something keeps saying......don't be nervous because DAK is a chain moving specialist and will lead to the cowboys to victory.

The past is SELDOM prelude. The past (per DITKA) is for cowards and losers. We are going to punch them in the mouth and send them limping back to Philthy. Period. Just wish it was this Sunday.

Yep. And Dallas couldn't win in Green Bay either. I said it last week about Green Bay and I'll say it about Philly: They haven't seen the likes of a team like Dallas this season. They're about to.

There aren't many players left from the teams that played one another in previous years. Its just the jerseys that are the same.

Here is another: the last 3 years, the road team has won this game.

I feel your pain though: you yearn for the days when we were 1-11 without him, so then you could go on about only he had the secret formula that could make this team go!

I will never understand this continuous fear mongering by Cowboy fans about Eagles. If you wanna be scared about NFC East team it would be Washington. Without special teams the Eagles get thumped by skins in that game.

We match up very well , especially with the Eagles offense. What worries me more is Fletcher Cox or that other lard butt falling on Dak.

2010 = Jon Kitna
2011 = Stephen McGee
2012 = Tony Romo (Cowboys win)
2013 = Kyle Orton
2014 = Tony Romo on a short week(Thursday Game)
2015 = Matt Cassell

You beat me too it, so I'll just add this little snippet.

Very glad we played them at home early this season

If they get on a roll now they could be a force to be reckoned with later. It'll be nice to have the 2nd matchup at home if it's a tight race for the division

I'll only be somewhat concerned about the Eagles if they manhandle the Vikings this weekend. But what I expect will happen is that the Eagles are roughed up by Minnesota and lose, and then we tack another loss onto their record. Then we can shift our concern to the Commanders and whether Jerry is stupid enough to yank Dak if we go to 7-1 the week after that against Cleveland.

The hyper hysteria is not necessarily about any particular opponent. Any team gets the treatment in varying degrees and the reasoning is often tied to the same manic-driven conclusion. Luckily almost every aspect of the team is playing or coaching solid football consistently. Better four-quarter assignment execution across the board has been the base winning factor. Slight changes to the starting lineup shouldn't invoke any notable anxiety but it has and will continue doing so.
