Ertz, then Celek, now Johnson.

You can tell Howie is back in charge.

Extensions for everyone.

$36MM in guaranteed money. More than any tackle in football............. he's not even their LT at this point (he eventually will) as they apparently want Peters back at LT next year.

I don't know but it seems the Eagles just overpaid for one of their own.

Ertz and Johnson aren't awful re-signing, but extending Celek especially after the fact that they could have cut him and saved $5M next year with absolutely zero dead money was... Well, this gif pretty much defines my thought on that re-signing.

This guy is mainly a blocking TE AND his blocking fell off last year. DUMB!

I thought they overpaid for Ertz as well. They are sure paying for future production with these deals rather than past production. Sometimes it works out, sometimes you look dumb.

Yeah there seems to be some questions about who got what guaranteed money. The various contract websites show Smith at like $23MM guaranteed but others are saying he got $40MM. In any event, at worst, Johnson is now the 4th highest paid OT in football.

It seems Fletcher Cox is going to be next on the list. He is a good player but really has potential to break the bank. I know they are in good cap shape but all these moves makes it seem like it will be hard to retain Bradford so chances are they will be struggling at the most important position.

It almost makes me want to get a first round QB just to prevent one of the big 3 falling to the Eagles...

There cap shape isn't great. Kelly took a big bite out of it last year with some of his moves.

Also note, that cap numbers for 2016 DO NOT INCLUDE Bradford. So before they signed Ertz and Johnson their cap space was around $21MM. But that didn't include Bradford who could cost them a big chunk of that space if he is re-signed by them (or they decide to franchise him).
