To all the Eagles fans, I hope for the best for Coach Johnson. I respect him immensely. I think he is the absolute best DC in the NFL. It is a big loss.

I don't believe there's a guy "just as good" as Jim Johnson, at least on the Eagles' staff. For as good as Spagnuolo is, I don't think he's on par with Johnson either.

I hate the Eagles with extreme passion, ever since the Bounty Bowl. Had this been the smug Buddy Ryan, I wouldn't care. However, Jim Johnson is a true class act. He is one of the best defensive minds of all-time. This has to be a huge blow to the Eagles, not only on a professional level, but also a personal level as well. You do not commit that kind of time, energy, and passion into something and not leave a personal mark.

As much as I hate the Green and Silver....I have to send out my best wishes to JJ on a speedy recovery. As much as I will regret saying this, I hope to see him back on the sidelines calling blitzes very soon.

You say some of the silliest things sometimes. Lets just say ANYTHING is debatable and leave it at that.


A person of Johnson's caliber will be missed by the entire NFL_Godspeed on a full recovery.

This isn't the way I wanted him to go out. Hopefully he recovers and returns. He's amazing at what he does. The blitz packages he had were ridiculous. Great coach.
