Eagles trade C Cam Jurgens to Ravens

It would be more comical if the Eagles and Roseman had not already lapped the Cowboys 6 times in the past 26 years. Love my Cowboys but it’s absurd to act like the Cowboys have done anything that comes close to their success in that time period. Good offensive lineman can be had in basically every single draft. Eagles already won a SB without Kelce-so that would prove they do not need two. Their left tackle could end up in the HOF.
This is irrelevant

All of our comments are, lol. Literally nothing we say makes a difference or relevance. The Eagles will be back in contention within or just after the next two seasons

Yea but that response had absolutely nothing to do with what we were talking about.

Considering where the Eagles are with their roster, and the disappointing play by Jurgens, I would say a number 2 and 5 is a good trade for them, not so much for the ravens unless he becomes a Pro bowl center, again. I would take Beebe any day over him.

The overall argument was that the Eagles will be back in contention much sooner than the 2030’s which is the timeline I thought I saw you make. Lineman, QB, whatever. Roseman is a diligent NFL GM and not a simpleton pandering entertainment.

Dallas has won 2 playoff games in 3 decades and just lost to an 0 -4 Bucs team with an undrafted FA qb.

I'll defer to you as an expert on what a dumpster fire is.

Howie will be seen as average. Especially when there's no Hurts, no Saquan, no all star oline. Even this defense looks overrated. Case Keenum got off his couch, stole the girlfriend, took the house, car, bank accounts, and played target practice. The Rams proved the defense to be a total joke. The Titans gifted y'all the previous game. That said, the titans suck. It really shines a light on how fraudulent Howie the great is. Now your seeing a panic move by Howie. More to follow.
Cant spell delusional without Dallas.

Yes but you act like rebuilding the line and getting a new QB are just certainties. They aren't going to just simply replace Kelce and Johnson.

Not same same guys. I am not saying they will get equivalents. But they will find someone that can play at a high level. If you watch them draft and develop-you can tell they know the lineman they want with high picks. They love drafting lineman in the first through third rounds and will just keep attacking the lines of scrimmage. That’s Roseman. He knows where the game is won and knows how to draft defensive lineman in a way that this team is lost at. Not too great at finding wide receivers late in the first or in the second round though haha

The Eagles aren't a good drafting team.

You are either trolling or don't know ball. Eagles have drafted more HOF players in the last 10 years than Dallas for sure.
They haven't drafted any lol

Unless you thing Jordan mailata is hof none are even close

Just a comically wrong opinion. Take 10 seconds and Google it lol

Sure I stand corrected nobody in the last decade will be in the HoF. What I meant to say was the Eagles know how to get players that can contribute to winning more than 3 playoff games in 31 years and play in and win Super Bowls. (Plural). Something Dallas and Jerry doesn't seem to know about since free agency became a thing and they banned the use of hard drugs in locker rooms.

But what's comical is how you took those 10 seconds to use Google and still came away with the astute logic and hot take that the Eagles don't know how to draft. Here are some key players they have drafted that have had pretty nice NFL careers. And helped to win multiple playoff game and play in Super Bowls (Plural):

2016 *Super Bowl winners and contributors
Carson Wentz
Isaac Seumalu

2017
Rasul Douglas
Mack Hollins

2018 *Super Bowl Winners and contributors
Dallas Goedert
Avante Madox
Jordan Mialata
Josh Sweat

2019 *Super Bowl contributor
Miles Sanders

2020 *2 Super Bowls, 1 Super Bowl MVP and owner of 2 top 10 Super Bowl performances
Jalen Hurts

2021 *Super Bowl winners and contributors
Devonte Smith
Landon Dickerson
Kenneth Gainwell

2022 *Super Bowl winners and contributors
Jordan Davis
Cam Jurgens
Nakobe Dean

2023 *Super Bowl winners and contributors
Jalen Carter
Nolan Smith
Moro Ojomo

2024 *Super Bowl Winners and contributors
Quinyon Mitchell
Cooper Dejean

------

That list is stacked with ALL Pro NFL calibre players and outright studs on BOTH sides of the ball.

Maybe if Dallas didn't know how to draft as good as the Eagles, especially on defense, they would be able to field a functioning NFL defense that doesn't look like a bunch of Helen Kellers against any serious competition. But you got it champ, Howie and Lurie should follow Jerry the clown and get regular season merchants, that everyone around here swears is in the HoF every year from practices at Oxnard. Dak is top 5 - except when it comes to winning in the post-season. You know when it REALLY counts.

I like The Running Man's commentary because, let's face it, everybody screws up. Jalen Reagor instead of Justin Jefferson is a classic example. But, viewing something in totality gives a clearer picture. Especially when you look at all those who weren't 1st-rounders but who were major contributors. When you add to that Howie's heisting of AJ Brown and getting Zach Baun in free agency, you have yourself a Super Bowl champion. In Roseman's case, two Super Bowl champions and another Super Bowl appearance.

As an Iggles' fan, I'm not here to rub it in.

But, the select few here who have tried to depict Roseman as an 'average' GM are talking out of their butts.

I sir also am an Eagles fan. I enjoy perusing these boards bc there are some pretty cool knowledgeable people that like to talk ball. And its nice to get outside the BLG bubble. But some of these people on here are beyond delusional.

My first response setting is cordial and amicable. But when ppl start talking nonsense like person i was responding to? Well like Jay Z once said. "If yall want to play sick. We can ALL GET ILL."

I mean I appreciate the effort but getting 2-3 players a year is average drafting. You're also very generous with your definition of "contributor."

Wentz played 9 career playoff snaps and never played in a Super Bowl.
Rasul Douglas played 0 defensive snaps in the Super Bowl.
Mack Hollins played 17 offensive snaps and had 0 targets, catches, or yards in the Super Bowl.
Nakobe Dean played 0 defensive snaps in the Super Bowl.

Idk what most of your rambling about Google is about but yea, the Eagles have drafted a handful of good players in the first two rounds. That's pretty easy - you don't get credit for drafting Carter or Smith in the first round. Their best first-round pick was AJ Brown, and that's only because they whiffed on Reagor.

There is nothing special about their drafting, and its why they have poor cap health and no depth.

From your lips to gods ears. They seem to have turned however they draft into a lot of playoff and championship success this century. But you got it all fitgired out
You should send Jerry your resume. He could use you.
