Eagles trade C Cam Jurgens to Ravens

[CowboysLakerBamaFan]

Picking his nose as usual.

HAHA!

[StarOfGlory]

Something is wrong in philly. Its like the OL had a meeting and decided to quit playing. Johnson suddenly retires...... Dickerson is also considering retirement. Now Jurgens gets traded......

Well, Dickerson has been playing on a knee that barely resembles a knee these days. He had an injury history when they drafted him and the gamble paid off with two Super Bowls. The House now wants to be paid. I believe it's 50/50 that he makes it to next year.

[SuperBowlz]

Jurgens was never an able replacement for Kelsey.

Not in the same galaxy as a player IMO.

It’s hard to replace a top Center of all time and Hall of Famer but Cam was a good Center before injury.

Johnson said he was gonna retire at beginning of year.

The other 2 guys have just broken down physically. That's the weird part to me....those 2 guys are what mid 20s? They're too young to be this old! OLinemen are supposed to be able to play until mid 30s. But these 2 seemed destined to be out of the league by 28.

That was the deal with Dickerson. He was supposed to be a top 15 pick but fell to later in the 2nd because of all the injury issues. Eagles are crumbling

Bet Howie is regretting taking that Wr in round 1 about now.

[Kwyn]

Howie will be seen as average. Especially when there's no Hurts, no Saquan, no all star oline. Even this defense looks overrated. Case Keenum got off his couch, stole the girlfriend, took the house, car, bank accounts, and played target practice. The Rams proved the defense to be a total joke. The Titans gifted y'all the previous game. That said, the titans suck. It really shines a light on how fraudulent Howie the great is. Now your seeing a panic move by Howie. More to follow.

This was highway robbery. Eagles fans on all their boards today are thrilled.

[cowboyec]

they are imploding.
that locker-room is a mess.

This. Well said. Something is very wrong there.

Delusional they are

[Floatyworm]

Putting aside what that means for their season, that's quite the return for Howie on that deal.

Jurgens has been dealing with some injuries and was actually struggling a bit this year as they were moving OL around. A 2028 2nd round pick is quite the return.

....Hell..I would have traded Beebe for that. Start Bass @ C.

Who wouldn't trade Beebe for Porter Jr?

To give up your 2nd...and only get a declining center...Doesn't make sense for the Ravens what so ever...

[Floatyworm]

This. Well said. Something is very wrong there.

It's called the impending doom of the salary cap...Howie has pushed money down the road for years...the bill is coming soon....Hence trying to load up on draft picks. A black Monday is coming to Philadelphia very soon.

[Kwyn]

Delusional they are

I know we want to hate on their fans and the team in general but this is a move that’s bad for us.

They got a 2nd round pick for a guy they were benching to make room for an UDFA who spent all of last season on IR. A huge overpay by the Ravens.

[Blitzen]

Wait, you mean when they noticed the team does not function so well without a fully healthy and elite offensive line and elite receivers and running back that means you can rebuild? They already won a SB (February 2025) with Hurts and got to another one (February 2023) and barely lost. Why would those dum-dums not quadruple down on their “franchise” QB to try to salvage 8-9 wins this season? Is it because Roseman does not buy into the “franchise” QB team building brilliance that the Cowboys invest so heavily in???

[kskboys]

Back issues. Dumb trade for Ravens.

[exciter]

The starting Center?!?……

Believe he's injured and his long term prospects don't look good as of now.
Eagles always seem to be able to sucker other teams!

[stiletto]

It's not victory we feel. It's us relishing in the Eagle fans pain.

Kind of like the pain we've had the last 30 years.

[ratkinson]

wow, are they giving up on the season? the LT retired, now they traded their center. they traded brown in off season....

Thought it was odd when Roseman left that huge hole at receiver after trading Brown. It seems to be making sense now with these latest moves. Rebuild underway.

Jurgens likely doesn’t have many years left in his playing career due to his back issues.

I think he went out of the country to try some alternative treatments because his back issues were so severe.

Yes, he received Stem Cell treatment in Columbia.

[Cowboys5217]

Watch the Eagles break it down, and then lap us again in a few seasons after they build it back once more.
