Anyone see any of that game? I have the pleasure of living in New England...and can't stand the Patriots. The Eagles/Patriots game was on in the bar where I was watching the Cowboys game.

The Eagles looked improved to me. They look faster and McNabb was throwing the ball with more zip than I have seen in recent years. As much as I hate to say it, I think the Eagles could be the sleeper team in the NFC East.

With no receivers, an old offensive line that will last 2 games at most, an inexperienced line backing core, and a horrendous defensive line?

I was flipping back and forth from both games....

Philly does look strong.......well prepared....defence is tough and aggressive and Westbrook might be the best player in the NFC.

I hate the Eagles but they look every bit a contender the Boys are

I think it's a lapse in judgment to dismiss the Eagles. Over the last few years, it seems like that's when they're at their best. I wouldn't anticipate them winning the division, but they will absolutely be a difficult team to beat and a playoff contender.

Doesnt matter, McNabb will choke just like always. It is kinda like death and taxes, one of those things you can always count on

Agreed. I want to hate on the guy, being an Eagle and all. Historically speaking, I think he'll be most remembered for his chokes in big games. Still, he's like a Danny White -- he consistently takes his team pretty far, even if he can't make it over the last hurdle. And he does it with some pretty spotty receivers. Check that -- downright terrible receivers.
