Watching the Eagles play the Pats on NFL Network. Brent Celek went down for the Eagles.

In other news, the Pats have some new receiver, Edelman I think, who the announcers just said is "The Pats other Wes Welker." It seems like this analogy just will not die. So what is it exactly that makes a receiver "another Wes Welker," or a "poorman's Wes Welker" etc.? :D

Welker is only praised because he's a Pat, he was a good but not phenomenal receiver with Miami; he's Tim Dwight or Patrick Jeffers good.

Nice to have on your team but not a gamebreaker without other weapons to open it up for him.

This Maclin guy is going to be a thorn in our side. Oh yeah, "our former Welker" Amendola is catching some passes for the Eagles.

I would hope Amendola would catch some passes, seeing as how he's hoping to be an NFL wide receiver. People need to let Amendola go.

Too early to say for Maclin. I want to see him in a real game, not loosey-goosey preseason action. Call the jury back in after Week 5.

Being white?

Seriously, we supposedly liked him a lot in the draft. I was hoping we'd get him.

I've seen enough of Maclin to really like him. I would trade him for any of our WRs except for Roy straight up.
