But, there was a chorus of folks on here that proclaimed Wentz was a “generational talent” that made everyone around him better. While I still believe Wentz is a very talented player, I think we are all finding out that there are only a few QB’s that can absolutely succeed with basically anyone in their WR/TE Corp.

On that we agree. Neither of them are transcendent quarterbacks.

Kirk Cousins is "average at best". Wentz is definitely not that good.

When Wentz is at his best he is average. The rest of the time he sucks. Cousins has proven to actually be pretty good more than half of the time now.

The thing is that if Philly loses today some will still have them make the playoffs and it's not because they are good, but because talking heads and Eagles fans are relying on the Eagles to play teams worse than they are and are hoping that they are able to pick up easy wins against bad teams. While the Cowboys have the tougher schedule.
