The Eagles, even with all the high picks they've invested in defensive linemen, may still find themselves going after another one tomorrow. If a defensive end like Florida's Jarvis Moss falls to the 26th pick, they may take him.

It's incredible insight like this that makes the Philadelphia Inquirer the rag that it is...

Good. Let them take that wuss. I'll enjoy watching Colombo throw that little ***** around like he did with Hall last year.

I hope they do it. Their track record with the DE position has been abysmal as of late. Let them waste yet anotheer draft choice and a ton of money on another one. Right about the time the watch McDougle walk out the front gate.

If they take him, then they may let go of Kearse as soon as next season, or this offseason possibly. Moss would be good there, at least they have a solid d-line that will pressure the qb and allow Moss to not be double-teamed. As long as they don't get Griffin or Merriweather, I will be okay.

:lmao2: :hammer: haha Thank you! somebody that at least acknowledges that this guy is weak!

Jarvis Moss weak? What are you guys smoking?

Moss is going to be very good in this league. Reminds me of a more athletic Jevon Kearse. He's going to put on some weight in the next year (weight that he lost because of the pelvic disorder he had).

He's healthy now, and will reek HAVOC on qb's. Just watch. He's one of my picks for Dallas to take with in the 1st round

Who knows what the Eagles are thinking. I am afraid they could leave the first two rounds with either Nelson/Merriweather and a guy like Brian Leonard (who would be a really nice fit for that system).

I also wouldn't rule out a lineman on either side of the ball. Reid likes taking those big boys early.

That's great news. One of the biggest busts in this draft waiting to happen.

16 reps? Dude, that's weak. And don't say it's because of his injury. He's two years removed from that staph infection. And don't say it's because of his long arms. His arms as just as long as Ware's and Ware put up 27 reps.

There are 5'9" 190 lb. wide receivers that can bench more than 16 reps.

I'd be okay with Philly getting Moss. I think he is a decent pass rusher, but he'll be situational at best, IMO.

I'm afraid they'll take Merriweather, who I think is going to be an outstanding DB. He's going to be a very good one and I don't want to see him flying around in that ugly green jersey they have.

I'd love to see us nab him (Merriweather) actually.

WHO's smoking the hippie cabbage? You can't seriously be suggesting he's a better athlete than Kearse.

:bang2: :lmao: :nono: DONT THINK SO!

Jarvis Moss
Height: 6-6
Weight: 251

AGILITY TESTSCampus: 4.63 in the 40-yard dash265-pound bench press … 415-pound squat (from 2004) … 37-inch vertical jump … 33½-inch arm length … 9½-inch hands.

Anthony SpencerHeight: 6-3
Weight: 266

AGILITY TESTSCampus: 4.63 in the 40-yard dash500-pound bench press … 32 5/8-inch arm length … 9 5/8-inch hands … Right-handed.

Besides the fact that spencer's bench is 200 + more than moss, he is AS FAST as Moss. Spencer wieghs more than moss and is SHORTER. Moss is going to get pushed around by lineman more than a hot potato. Moss may be good in a few years, but Spencer can help NOW! We don't need another Jarvis Moss on this team, his name is Bobby Carpenter. We need another strong and fast linebacaker who can get to the qb even if he is bieng blocked.

Agreed...I don't want them to take Griffin or Merrieather, I don't want the boys to have to face another iteration of Brian Dawkins:mad:

Mark my words, the kid can play. He'll put on some weight, and be real good.
