In fact, anyone heard anything about Datone Jones? He's a free agent we signed late last season but boy, did he finish strong. Love to see him back competing for a roster spot.

When we signed him in November it was a two year deal so he will be.

Who cares?

I could care less if they sign this guy or not. Leave.. Sign.. It makes no difference because he makes no difference.

Unless they cut him(and I can’t find any articles that say we did), he should still be on the roster:

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/datone-jones-12306/

I originally read two year deal on the site who shall not be named.

Just read that the 2-year deal but Roto is listing him as a free agent but I think your info closer to right than Roto.

This is from Over the Cap .......so think you're right, he still on the team.

Ealy's agent is just hoping to add some heat to a luke warm fire between the Cowboys and Jets. Let it play out, the Cowboy offer may look good in a couple of weeks. Has Ealy been good enough to break the bank on? Can't see it from either team. Flemming left without a deal too and the talk was the Pats wanted him.

Well if he is, Dallas cut him very quietly lol

Not worried. Let him shop around. It's not like he was going to be starting material. The guy has skill but isn't consistent enough to be an every down guy.

Well scratch this comment. Looks like he signed according to another thread.

DEs are like pitchers in MLB; they make money regardless. Every DE is part of the rotation. He’s as good as Crawford and better than Mayowa.
