Wasn't impressed with Mays today and I'm a USC fan.

Taylor Mays will probably drop a great 40 time and will get drafted by the Raiders.


He has good straight line speed but he is the exact kind of safety NFL teams should stay away from.

Taylor Mays is highly overrated. I have seen him a few times and he has done little to nothing on the field. I remember Darnell Bing a few years ago...that guy was a baller. He was all over the field, hitting and making plays. I havent heard much of him since he was drafted though. Still he is the best USC safety I have seen in the last handful of years or so.

I keep trying to watch FSU to see Myron Rolle, but I keep missing him. I guess I will never find out if he is any good.

Eric Berry seems to be the top safety prospect in the draft. I guess that means he is pretty good. Like I stated earlier, I have yet to see him play. I cannot comment on whether or not he is any good.

Earl Thomas is awesome. He can play CB or S. He covers, yet shows great range in centerfield. He is good against the run. He actually tackles people. He has good hands and has a nose for the ball. Oh and he looks pretty darn fast too.

how did i lose credibility? I have never gawked over Rolle...I have never talked him up, except about his superb mind, which he does have. I have never commented on his football ability. I have often asked about it. So please tell me how I lost credibility.

Also, I am not comparing any of the players I mentioned to Rolle....In fact, the only comparison I did make was Mays to Bing.

rolle graduated last year and got a rhodes(sp?) scholorship to study in europe this year...meaning he is holding out on the draft till this up coming one and will not have played football for a year MCC is just being a dick about it

I knew he graduated early, but he had eligibility left....I didnt know he chose not to use it. I dont really keep up with FSU....not a fan of any of the Florida teams.

I like Texas. I root for them. But when it comes to evaluating college talent I do it with 100% unbiased opinion because I care more about getting the best player for my Dallas Cowboys.


Eric Berry is a heck of a player. But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is the Center Fielder that Earl Thomas is. Nobody has his range and can cover the ground he does.

Its to the point where I think the NFL may look at him as a Corner.

Might be better as a corner in the NFL. He plays nickel corner when needed. And he looks smaller than listed.. He struggled against the run last night. Then again the whole D struggled.
