Earl Thomas to visit Texans

Meanwhile, Darian Thompson and Xavier Woods are still not covering anyone.

But they are very fine gentlemen in the locker room.

Watching footballs sailing over their heads...

One question I have with Thomas is have teams not had interest in him because of behavior. Or do teams not want to touch him because they are worried about CTE.

It would seem that with behavioral issues, he would have had more interest. If there are concerns about CTE, thats where I would give the Cowboys a pass
That was a viable excuse and I was fine with that but what are the Texans doing here? Are they completely ignoring his potential issues with CTE or are the issues being blown out of proportion?

It is the Texans and they are terribly ran......

I think there may be a little too much of ......

"I can fix this guy" out of the coaches in Dallas.

That's where a real GM comes into play, but Jerry just buys into what he wants to hear, and too many of them are like that.

The structure of the team is off and it's always been a problem....and looking more and more like it never wont be.

Even if Thomas is completely F'ed in the head, he is going to put his very best foot forward from here...this year.

He will never play again if he doesnt.

Jerry bets on every degenerate out there, we blow coverages routinely, but passes here.

Stupid move. Then again, that's how they do. Signature Jones move.

I'm actually thinking they may be worried that Thomas may call them all out to the media. They dont want or need that headache.

Meaning....someone who speaks the truth. Didnt work well for guys like TO or Dez Bryant
Yup best players on the team and guys couldn't handle it when they wanted to hold them accountable. Greg hardy tried to do the same thing in 2015

just give up already guys, hes not coming here, never was....i dont even know why you get upset about it anymore. If jerry wanted him he could have had him by now...he doesn't want him....moving on

I am done getting my hopes up on actual talented secondary players, especially safeties. This team absolutely does not value them. Hence how we had Jeff Heath as a starter for years. Sad thing about it, he led us in interceptions some years. This defense makes sewage waste look attractive.

Hearing now it's a done deal.

Can’t wait to see his perfect, incentive driven deal that allows Houston off the books if he messes up

This is the stuff that makes me irate.

You seriously watched the first three weeks of the season. Allowed 20, 39 and 38 points. Wilson just threw for 5 touchdowns on your butt and he honestly can say he’s ok with Thompson and Woods? Quit lying to yourself.

Comfortable doesn’t win championships

Yep. Hardy came in here and saw how terrible and soft this locker room was right away. Earl will see the same thing. He played in championship locker rooms.

I really hope thats not the case.

I don't really have time but I'm thinking of writing up something as to if the culture and structure here will allow success...ever.

One thing defeats the other, and everyone being buddies gets in the way of good business all too often.
