Guess its a 50/50 shot he either leaves or stays...

He prbly thought Jerruh or another team would sell the farm for him but not he's realizing he might need to eat crow for a year... Just covering his bases

seems like something someone would say when dallas has failed to trade for him. hes not going anywhere
Bingo.
Earl is finally seing reality for what it is: Dallas isn't going to charge in like a whiteknight, throw top picks at Seattle and pay him Eric Berry money.
He will be with Seattle this final year and they'll get their 3rd or 4th rd comp pick in 2020.

I read it and still don't buy that he'll be a Seahawks safety in 2018.

April 26, 2018 or April 27, 2018 Adam Schefter announces: the Dallas Cowboys have traded TWill, a 2018 3rd round pick and a 2019 conditional 4th round pick which can become a 3rd round pick for Area 29 and a 2018 4th round pick.

If its his final year in Seattle, probably thats when Cowboys are waiting for him...

He will be a FA next year. Seattle will not extend him at Berry money.

Is that a tribute to Seattle cause he definitely wanted Dallas to come get him. The last sentence contradicts his Dallas locker room talk.

Not really, he wants to be there, but he doesn’t know if they want him there or pay him. He was just getting ahead of the next move because he rather come home, is what I got from that ordeal

Probably too costly just for 1 year of service and he becomes free. Why give up picks for this year and he will be free the year after?
