BTW.....IMO, we can forget Jerry using a high pick on WR. In his mind, Mingo was our 2025 4th-round pick. No way in hell he is going to burn a 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounder on another WR.

I’d disagree…he’s doubled down on weaknesses prior with a combo of FA/trade + draft pick.

Carr / Claiborne
Cooper / Lamb
etc…

As much as I agree, this is the Dallas Cowboys were talking about. I'm fairly certain that this was their plan in last year's draft. They will then have their higher ranked guys fall to them and before they know it, the draft is over without having drafted a RB and/or WR. It's the same crap every year with this team.

A good shot that they are in the top 5 this time. They could end up higher than they have been in decades.

Top 5 is the goal, that is where those juicy trade back calls are made. A big trade can turn this team around in a hurry if the picks are used right.

It’s just our luck it’s a crap class in relation to QBs and blue chippers.

I love Dak but heck I’d even consider QB but Shadeur looks like he’s going to be a bus driver and Ward is boom / bust.

Trading back might be the best option but a lot of eval left in the process.

Every year teams move up for those QB's, even in average classes. You have to figure 2 are locks in top 5 and probably 1-2 more in the 1st rd.

Looking at the teams ahead of us, it is very possible we could move up into that range.
