What! Our bye is after Week 6 and it's a 17 game season. That means unless we're the #1 seed we would have to play 11 weeks in a row in the regular season then 3 week more weeks in a row in the playoffs to make the Super Bowl, that's 14 weeks in a row we'll have a game. The Eagles on the other hand get their bye after Week 9. That is a huge advantage to the Eagles.
It's called injuries of course it matters. Eagles did not play 14 weeks in a row despite having bye after week 6 because they got the 2nd bye due to being #1 seed. We are an injury prone team. Good luck with Zach Martin and Tyron Smith lasting 14 weeks in a row. They couldn't even play week 3.What!
If your team is good enough the bye week does NOT matter!!!
They used to play 14 straight weeks without a bye week. I think even the early part of the 16 game seasons as well. Can't remember for sure. Our bye is after Week 6 and it's a 17 game season. That means unless we're the #1 seed we would have to play 11 weeks in a row in the regular season then 3 week more weeks in a row in the playoffs to make the Super Bowl, that's 14 weeks in a row we'll have a game. No surprise coming from you one of the most negative posters here.More of you crying about what strangers on a message board say. It never ends. No matter what.
Bye week early can benefit us to get our OLine healthy with all the early injuries. It's not negativity, it's a fact. You think our o-line is going to survive 14 weeks in a row? Good luck with that.
I think it's completely unfair that one team has to play the last 11 weeks while another team gets their bye week after week 9, that's a 9-8 split for them and a 6-11 split for us. Completely unbalanced.
Week 7 bye is not early. Weeks 7-9 are all essentially mid season.
It doesn't matter to begin with.If your team is good enough the bye week does NOT matter!!!
But that's what you are doing right nowMore of you crying about what strangers on a message board say. It never ends. No matter what.
OP probably made a thread last year saying how it's unfair eagles got their bye quicker.Eagles bye Last year: week 7. Enough with the weak excuses already
Not really. I was just live action role-playing.But that's what you are doing right now
So you are a guy who was banned from here and rejoined in 2022.Not really. I was just live action role-playing.
Clinch the division by week 15 and play the backups for the final 2 weeks and get the playoff bye week...Our bye is after Week 6 and it's a 17 game season. That means unless we're the #1 seed we would have to play 11 weeks in a row in the regular season then 3 week more weeks in a row in the playoffs to make the Super Bowl, that's 14 weeks in a row we'll have a game.
