Zay Flowers - slightly undersized, but super twitched up and arguably the best separator in the class. Believe he can give you a good amount of snaps outside due his YAC ability and contested catch ability. (Believe Addison and Johnston won't be available).

Broderick Jones / Anton Harrison - might be a pipedream but maybe OT4 falls to us. Allows us to kick Tyler inside and fix 2 positions with 1 pick.

Witherspoon / Gonzalez / Cam Smith / Porter / Forbes - I don't know how we're going to rank the CBs but they're all studs. This class is LOADED and I'd be happy with whoever falls.

Nolan Smith - Parsons 2.0.

Will McDonald - I'm a bit more bullish on him than most, but dude had 20+ sacks the last 2 seasons while being asked to play base DE in a 3 man front. He's stronger than his size would indicate, has 34+ inch arms and is one of the few edges in the class that has that burst / bend combo. Think he'll be a big riser leading up to the draft.

Branch / Johnson - I'm not normally a fan of S's in the 1st round but both of these players can give you quality slot CBs reps so I think they bring some added value.

DL or OLine for me

Jalen Carter
Will Anderson
Myles Murphy
Tyree Wilson
Lukas Van Ness
Peter Skoronski
Paris Johnson
Broderick Jones

Really hoping 1 of those 8 fall to 26

Keion White and Anton Harrison are not far off that list. If not CB could possibly be BPA. Porter Jr or Brian Branch would be my top targets.

Yea me too but most of those dudes likely going top 10/15.

I tried listed what I felt were realistic options.

I forgot to add in pass catchers Michael Mayer and Addison. So that’s 14 guys I’d be very happy with without a QB, some WR options I don’t like, some smaller pass rushers, G/C, or LB included. I like my chances of getting 1 of those 14, even if it’s “settling” for Keion White or Harrison….but I’m sure I’m probably alone on an island with White

Love Addison. I like Mayer - just not in the 1st.

He just doesn’t look like a 1st round athlete for the position.

Yeah Mayer isn’t going to blow up the combine, but he’s just a really good football player. He does everything extremely well from finding space in the D, catching, to blocking. He reminds me a good bit of TJ Hockenson when he was coming out of Iowa. Hockensin ran a 4.7 40 and a lot people questioned if hed be worthy of a top pick. Mayer isn’t going to be a Kelce, Waller or Pitts type of TE, but I think Hockenson is well within the realm of possibility. Hard to compare a prospect to a HOF’er, but Witten is also an easy/lazy comparison for Mayer

I know college #’s aren’t everything, but back to back seasons with 65+ catches, 800+ yards, and 7+ TD’s is extremely impressive and hard to ignore.

1. Carter
2. Anderson
3. Wilson
4. Murphy
5. Skoronski
6. Johnson
7. Porter Jr
8. Branch
9. Van Ness
10. B. Jones
11. Addison
12. Mayer
13. A. Harrison
14. K. White
15. Witherspoon

That would be my 15. If none available at 26 then do your best to trade back.

True on Hock but I think he gave you more short area quickness. Mayer looks like he catches a lot of congested balls in college so I just don’t know how well he’ll be able to separate.

I think he’ll be a solid and steady pro just not 1st rounder for me.

-The heavy odds have to be at corner, to fix the draft mistakes of Joseph/Wright.
-With this team's success drafting OL, it's always going to be in the discussion.
-I wouldn't draft any receiver in the 1st round, but they may have to if a receiver isn't signed or acquired
-Team hasn't taking a high TE in years, last one was a bust in Escobar
-Wildcard would be Bijian Robinson Falling
-Don't see them taking a pass rusher, nor see ant DT worthy of the 26th pick.

I love Smith at 26, though he can probably be had after a small trade down. I like the corners too. But if Brod Jones or Torrence is there, he's my pick. I like several WRs in rounds 2-4, but I'd really love to put a monster next to Tyler Smith.

Just watched Broderick yesterday, he is one of my favorite prospects in the entire class. However, cannot see him anywhere near our pick, but would trade up if he made it past 15. Torrence would also be an excellent selection, as well.

Corners-top 3 Witherspoon, Porter Jr., Gonzales-any are there, that will be the pick. After that, Cam Smith, Ringo, Deonta Banks all are excellent fits. Don't see them taking an undersized corner with lack of length. Also, they may not get another chance to find a plug and play corner.

Of coarse, Robinson is the wildcard and he will be the pick if he makes it that far, but don't see it. Gurley was suppose to fall and he went 10 to the Rams.

I agree we probably won’t draft a pass rusher but we should 100% consider it a top talent falls. This team will likely draft for need at CB / WR / OL. Just hope it isn’t a reach.

Have you seen the OK OT yet? Not as physical as Broderick but man his feet are awesome.

I’m not a fan of Ringo. He’s a better athlete than football player IMO. Gave up a lot of big plays last year and just seems to lack instincts.

Cam Smith is undersized. As is banks. Ringo isn't that good to me but he's athletic and big. He would be a Byron jones type. It wouldn't be the worst pick if Quinn can pull something out of him

I know Cam Smith is borderline, but isn't Banks 6'2 over 200 lbs?

Yes, I watched him this morning, reminds me of Darrishaw, who has been a good LT for the Vikings. Not as physical as Broderick, but looks like an elite pass protector. If either are there, they will be the pick.

As for Ringo, he has those physical traits that our front office and Quinn love. I agree, the team who drafts him are taking him for his upside, not his college production. You know how this team covets elite athletes with great length. That alone, we need to consider him a Cowboy pick.

He looks small to me. Like barely 6'. Plus I don't think smith or banks are 1st rounders.
Seen Smith as a solid 1st rounder throughout the many mocks I have seen, but a lot of different opinions on Banks. Keep in mind the Cowboys were going to take Horn two years ago, where they have a lot of contacts inside that building. He is a versatile prospect who can play either outside or in the slot.

Dane recently said he knows there are several teams who have 2nd rd grades on him (Banks), but there are a handful of teams who view him as a 1st round prospect. He has those physical traits that this team loves.

He's more of a 2nd for sure imo. Late 2 at that but we'll see

Dane's top 6: Gonzalez, Porter Jr, Witherspoon, Cam Smith, Banks and Ringo.

We all agree there is separation after the top 3, but the 2nd tier is still good. At 58, we probably will see a steep decline in talent at the position.
