Arguably the best defenders in the draft and I am fairly confident 1 will be available with our first pick.

Sonny Styles (LBr) is the wild card. I think he going to pick up a ton of steam. Basically a bigger version of Shazier who they loved.

Makes sense but I fear Jerry could be wowed by someone like Love sitting there, especially if he loses Pickens. He's going to want to grab another playmaker on offense to help Prescott.

Given what we invested in Williams, I can't see us going DT with only two picks in the first three rounds.

There is a chance we let our boy from GB walk due to the money...

Even if we don't I would have ZERO hesitation drafting a stud like Woods.

Maybe we wouldn't have the best DE room but we wouldnt be absolutely elite at DT and pressure up the middle is a QB eraser.

Interior pressue is more important to this scheme than edge pressure too. The best Tampa 2 defenses have always been powered by elite 3T's. Thats a big reason why it failed here.

As far as DE's what do you think of LT Overton late in the first. He is an interesting evaluation in that he is an elite run defender thats improving as a rusher, but still needs more of a gameplan. I think there is very high upside with him.

Im with you but I think our best 2 would be Q and Osa and it might be tough to pay all 3.

LT doesnt do much for me as a pass rusher. Might be better suited as trying to grow into a 3T.

Yeah, we should load up on defensive tackles. Especially if we can get one that has 5tech ability. I think you can always get depth pieces at end cheaper than a defensive tackle. There are lots of David Irving types in this draft. Plenty of 6’4 320+ dancing bears that could unlock our front 7.

If Woods is there, you take him just due to value. You figure out LDE later. Having Woods and Williams forces offense to over concentrate on the middle and leaves your DE's with tons of 1 on 1's. You backs need to stay in the block and cant afford to chip the DE'S

Having two bosses like that inside just really limits an offense. Not just blocking, but what they can send downfield

It is fun thinking about winning the lottery. Then reality sits in we you have the 15th pick.
