NBC will have to offer up a lot more than Heroes to get that game. Maybe they would be willing to serve up Al Michaels on a shish kabob? That would be an adequate concession, imo.Taz;1690886 said:NBC just said they were trying to use an early flex to steal the cow , pat game from CBS. I doubt CBS would give up one of the best cowboy games, but NBC is offering heros and I don't know what else.
i have never heard u couldnt have more than 6...EastDallasCowboy;1690904 said:A couple weeks ago I was listening to the Troy Aikman show on KTCK (the Saturday show he does with Brad Sham), and they mentioned that Dallas couldn't be flexed into any more primetime games. Apparently there's an NFL rule that states a particular team can have no more than 6 primetime games, and that because Dallas had already been scheduled for 6 the networks weren't allowed to flex Dallas.
Not sure if that's true, but it's what Troy and Brad Sham said.

Otherwise it's a no brainer, obviously the networks and the nfl would both want NE/DAL in primetime.

Pats/Cowboys currently looks like the best game of the season to this point....shame it's a 3:15p game.
