Early game day thread

I will not overreact to one game like anyone with common sense shouldn't, however if Dak has 3 bad games in a row I'm fine with Romo earning the starting job back. It shouldn't be given to him it should have to be re-earned.

So I answered your question now answer mine are you predicting Dak plays poorly and the Cowboys lose? Yes or no?
Pretty much the way I feel. I'm fine with putting Romo in to try to save the season although I doubt he'll stay healthy. Right now I'd stick with Dak.

I have already answered that question before you asked. Read my comments before you respond.

So, a QB playing poorly in two divisional games, going 1-2 in the division and losing the lead after two weeks to prepare would be an "overreaction" to want a change?

Hmm...

I guarantee mattjames won't have an answer he doesn't want to look dumb going on record predicting Dak has a bad game, but he'll be the first to brag about it if he does have a bad game.

You're the worst kind of fan their is always looking for the negative.

Personally I would not consider Dak playing poorly as the way Romo gets his job back. What happens in practice and what makes us a better team does.

I agree Romo getting his position back should be earned but not in the way we are talking tonight.

I'm not going to go through your posts searching for what you said before you can either answer the question or you're scared.

What happens if Dak has a bad game tonight and we lose but he has a great game against Cleveland?

You didn't have to go through my posts, it was directly in the post you responded too haha

I said I don't know, he may have a bad game or a good game. I have no agenda here, I'm still waiting for Dak to prove his arm strength. Jury is still out on that. I actually hope our run game gets shut down at some point so we can see what he has.

The Eagles offense sucks. Their OL is struggling. Their RBs are ordinary. Their WRs and TEs suck. They easily have the worst offensive personnel in the division.
And their QB throws game losing interceptions. When their terrible running backs (both starter and backup) was averaging over 10 yards a carry but they decided to throw it and not run. Their recievers have made some tough catches and to say otherwise showed you either don't watch the game or your love for Wentz won't allow you to say it

Yea but Dak will be back within a couple weeks.
it's a good problem to have, but based on historical data it may be a week - to - week determination

though i think Romo may have a longer leash based on his career.. could be wrong though

Unless we win the Super Bowl there is some you won't be able to please, even then I'm not sure about certain posters they will give Dak no credit give it all to Zeke and the O-Line and say Romo should start next season.
We all should be enjoying this season. Instead all we do is fight about who the QB should be. Some don't want to admit that Romo's days in Dallas are numbered whether it's this year or next. The most important thing should be the success of this team going forward.

If we win a Super Bowl, we either will have a historic running game or Dak finally proves himself having games on his shoulders and needing to make tight window throws.

The latter is more likely. So no, no one would be doubting Dak then.

Looks like you are kind of new but there is certain members in here that only speak negative. And will jump on you if you speak positive

What is this "should"? We lost a game, there is no "should" here. Dak had a bad half of football and we lost.

And you are dodging here: This streak means nothing if you can't win an important divisional game.

I'm already seeing the bias here.

Oh wait, you are right.... I meant "HE SHOULD HAVE" won that first pro game of his life. I meant to put more emphasis on it.

There is zero bias here.

You are silly to say what you are saying about a division game and a QB starting his 7th pro game. Flat out Silly. It would see. That YOU have the bias.

I want Romo to start when healthy. I would not have his first game back vs Eagles.
I agree with this call.

I am all for Romo making his last run... THIS YEAR.

Find bias in that....

I'm dropping it before I get benched,.

So Atlanta-GB high scoring game.

Need 2 more hours to go by fast.
