Newman rueage. Maybe he was hurt for a few years but he played like hot garbage for the Cowboys in that period of time. I can't fault the FO for cutting him.

I guess Newman only needed better coaching or a better scheme. Not that he's suddenly an All-Pro, but he is a much better DB in Cincinnati than the last 3 years here.

We're only at mid season. People don't care to remember it, but he played really well for us at the start of last year, too. His issue is with the number of snaps he can be on the field at his age. He's going to wear down by the last two games (when they need him most) if they don't sub him enough.
