Well a lot of these guys who are healthy this year didn't play last season or got hurt last year.

Yea we're working with bums over there. Most of our guys would also be starting for the Aint's. Rob Ryan as of right now is coaching better. Its that simple. Through 5 games anyway. He was dreadful last season. I've already seen better blitzes from him this game than I saw from him last season. Rob Ryan's defensive playcalling was as predictable as our offensive play calling.

Bad coaching?

The cowboys have gone through wade Phillips, Rob Ryan and monte kiffin, not a bad defensive coach in the lot, and the cowboys still are below average. At some point it's not the coach. Maybe we've overrated the Ware's and Lee's.

i'm starting to wonder if there's a poisonous culture here in dallas that is ruining the team. i expected wade to have success but the rob ryan thing has me baffled.

I think coaching was the issue...just not from the defensive coordinator position. I think the Saints defense might be a good example of the difference a good head coach can make compared to one like Garrett.

I do agree, if there is a coaching problem, it starts at the top.
