Early Game Thread

I don't think the Packers are better than the Cowboys, however I think they might be the 2nd best team in the NFC at this point.

I suspect they will face off in the playoffs.

If you can't get a pass rush on Rodgers, it will be challenging.

If we meet in the playoffs I hope it is in Dallas and not the frozen tundra.

They have switched my Fox coverage to the Rams-Seahawks game. W00t!

Fox just switched to Sea game from Packer game.

Panthers are an ideal match up for GB. They have a garbage secondary, they benched their best pass rusher, and their second best pass rusher has been ineffective all year due to injury.

I'm in Panther country so I'm stuck with that game. I guess there isn't a worry about OT in this game.

What happen to the most balanced team in the NFL, a couple of weeks ago Bengals some considered the best in the league

The Rams had all three of their time outs, so one does wonder why Jeff Fisher just waved his hands while the play clock counted down to a delay of game. Why not call time out? We did the same thing recently.

Packers have had a creampuff schedule with the exception of the two games they lost and the road Bears game (also looking less impressive by the minute). They also play the AFC East this year, which is always a joke except for the Pats game. It does get a bit tougher for them, but if you look at their schedule it can be 12-4 easy.

New drinking game: Every time Moose says "lose contain". Drunk guaranteed.

Chicago is getting stomped at home. Hopefully that continues when we play there.

If you have DirecTV you can watch 8 games for free on 702. Also you can watch the new "Fantasy Zone" on 704 for free today as well

The two teams that beat the Packers, Seattle and Detroit, where able to generate enough pass rush to disrupt Rodgers. If you can't make Rodgers uncomfortable, the Packers can put up a lot of points.

Moose is at around 30 "contains" so far in the Seattle Rams game.
