But again, whether Jones being "shut down" is beneficial to the team or not, doesn't take away from the fact that he's being shut down. Same as if T-Will is taken out of a game and Beasley produces more, he's still being shut down. Dez Bryant had one big catch against the Lions, T-Will went off, Dez Bryant was still shut down.

He's simply being shut down in this game. They have other players taking advantage.

I'm not going to continue this silly argument because it's plainly obvious that back on August 25th that the Giants had me worried, but I wanted to keep the faith; which is exactly what I still stated in this thread; that they look like they are going to follow true with my prediction/feeling back in the summer. I'm not going to let you bait me into a senseless argument in which a thread gets derailed like they generally do when you're involved. Matter of fact, I'll use one of your favorite techniques and do you a favor by placing you on 'ignore.'

Saying they had you worried and calling them "frontrunners" are two different things. Most had the Giants 3rd in the division behind the Cowboys and Philly. The feeling you had back in the summer is they could end up surprising everyone like their Giants teams did back in 07 and 2011 and like the Cowboys did last season by unexpectedly winning the division. A "frontrunner" heading into the season is a team everyone is picking to win and the Giants weren't looked at as "frontrunners" by you or anyone else back in Aug. You're living in the moment with them right now because Philly doesn't look as good as everyone thought and the Cowboys have been decimated by injuries including losing their QB and #1 receiver for half the season. I'm sure you weren't thinking the Giants were "frontrunners" after watching them botch the opener to the Cowboys because you live in the moment.
