Early Game Thread

Crazy how playing the last two years can help a guy remain acclimated and help him learn the game.

It's like Jaylon missed two years AND made the jump to the NFL. Crazy...

Says nothing about football IQ. We aren't talking about recovering from an injury here. Smith just isn't smart.

And this was my criticism of him in college. Didn't care about his athleticism, we have enough combine warriors on our team, I didn't like how he read offenses in college. He couldn't pick up a play action to save his freakin' life at times.

Steelers need to get a new QB this draft. Big Ben time is about ran out.

LOL at Smith not being smart and struggling with play action in college.

You've had an irrational hatred over him for some reason bordering on bizarre.

He's been thinking about retiring, nearly did after last season.

Crazy how fast time flies. I still remember his magical 2004 season.

Yea, it shows. Once you think about retirement, you know they may be checked out mentally.

Anytime you sit out of something for almost two years, not to mention take a huge jump in level of competition, it's going to set you back. It's doesn't matter how instinctual you are.

I'm not saying Jaylon is good or has played well, but these comparison really have no weight. Things do not happen in a vacuum.

Your questions of his ability to read and might have some merit, but he has other strengths that Myles Jack doesn't. Unfortunately, we aren't using those strengths.

panthers are taking it to the lions today the lions look really bad at home so far

Jaylon has missed only one season, not sure where youre getting two. Last year was their rookie seasons

The Eagles don't even look talented as much as they look very well coached. Every week Pederson seems to have a different game plan to exploit matchups.
I hate the Eagles with a passion, but I admire what their coaches do.

Well said , our coaches seem to suck at this department , God knows why... wait I know JG is a fake coach . LOL
