Early game thread

Soooooo, it's really just about you saying, "I told you so." Even three years later. It's time to move on. You're just being a **** stir.

No it's really about our front office having no clue what they're doing and not learning from their mistakes so we just keep failing over and over.

How do you make that awful situation even worse? You dig your heels in and try to turn an empty vessel like Prescott in to your QB long term. Let's build an offense around his non existent skill set.

It's also about speaking the truth. This is a Cowboys fan forum. Do we want to talk honestly about this team or live in some fantasy land where everything's going fine and winning is right around the corner? Our rival got the next Aaron Rodgers when we could have had him? No big deal. We're on our way.

This isn't me bragging I was right. This is me pissed off that my team was wrong when the decision was so clear and so important to the future of the franchise. They should know better and they don't.

To add insult to injury, the genius that is Stephen Jones was asked at the combine this year if any past draft interview stood out to him as being the most impressive. The very first name out of his mouth? Carson Wentz.

It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.

Hey, you guys remember when Calvin Ridley couldn't play? Miss those days.

Whether somebody was right or wrong. Nobody is interested in hearing about how big of a mistake it was, over and over and over again 3 years later.

I think wentz is a very good QB but hearing the love fest over and over again gets a bit grating after a while.
For as great Wentz nuthuggers say he is.....I sure see him throwing it to tight ends and running backs today....haven’t seen the 80 yard bombs people expect Dak to throw every play.

Won't see it today, been pouring rain up here the last four hours.

I was ASSURED our win last week was meaningless because New York was the worst team in football and may not win a game this year.

How can it be they are beating by two touchdowns on the road? HOW I ASK???
Great question.

Yes, only the Eagles could have made the trade. It was a very unique and tricky trade package.

What you call blessed I call cursed.

You are really reaching to try and argue with me. Drafting is one of the few good things we have done right lately. The problem is not moving on from Romo sooner and 8-8 seasons causing us to treadmill.

Isn't every game between Tennessee and Jacksonville 3-3 at the half time.

Like watching Temple vs Rutgers.

Wentz receiving Corp is not very good right now. Alshon Jeffrey is hurt and so is mike Wallace. Agholor is their only good one left.

So I am not surprised.

I do find it hilarious how some of the same people who minimize Dak’s stretches of good play because he had a great supporting cast, also fail to mention that Wentz played with a Super Bowl championship caliber team last year...........

That’s not a knock on Wentz though. I recognize that football is a team sport and every QB needs help.

Skins about to punch it in today. Revolting day so far.
