Early game thread!

So when can we start logging these Aaron Rodgers overthrows as proof that he “can’t pass the ball downfield”?

Don't tempt me.

I promised not to rag on Garrett after Thursday's win.
It is not ragging on Garrett to talk about his lack of flexibility.

He is the last of the long time offensive minded head coaches to embrace the trend of the moment.

Andy Reid got with the program, sent Brad Childress to college and learned how to import the spread. His tree has spread two branches in Pederson and now Nagy.

The trend right now is that if you don't embrace the college game and the college concepts, you have a tougher time getting players since they are basically taught the same things since high school.

Coaching is fast becoming about breaking bad habits first if you don't speak the same language the kids coming up know. Start talking traditional offenses, they just don't understand.

Jags are also tanking it and not even faking it at this point.

Things are breaking our way. I am pulling for the Giants over the Bears, and to a lesser degree Tampa over Carolina, Arizona over Green Bay even Detroit over the Rams.

If the Bears lose this game, we have a very good shot at the 3rd seed. And if the Saints lose three more and Carolina loses to Tampa, we might even have a shot at the 2nd seed.

This is starting to feel like one of those magical seasons where things actually go right for a change.
Shhhhhhh.................Goodell might hear you.

Josh Allen has some moves .Kiko looked ridiculous trying to tackle him

It's more 95% Star Trek and 5% Family Guy/American Dad, but yes the second season starts later this month. Not a comedy like many critics will have you believe, more like a traditional sci fi drama with some lighthearted elements throughout.
I'd call it about 20% comedy.

Believe it or not this is what's going to happen. Except texans win. Watson scorches our secondary

That would most likely take 4 road victories (us 2 and them 2) against all of the Patriots, Chiefs, Saints and Rams. That's why I don't believe it will happen.

Texans are 1 game behind the Chiefs for the first seed. And the Cowboys are scrappy enough to pull it off.

This is why I really wanted Kingsbury brought in as a consultant. It would have been the start of the transition to a modern offense. This is the only way the team can maximize what Dak can do. And Dak is the future, like it or not.

I heard Sean McVey tried to hire Kingsbury this week as a consultant. That should tell you something.
