It really is simple. We need to win, and we want our competitors with the better records to lose and create separation. I'd take a 5-4 eagles over a 7-3 falcons. We have to win our divisional games regardless of that outcome.

That's not the first priority being first overall in the NFC although that's great. It's midseason though. Plenty of time to sort things out.

You want to win the East first. We have to play the Eagles again. You're more worried about seeding than winning the East. That, IMO, is not logical.

I see logic on both sides. I have my hopes up for a 1st round bye at this point. I'm getting greedy maybe.

It's easy to do that with half the results in. I told you this morning the entire NFC East wins this week but the Cowboys. Who get frisked and strip searched in Pittsburgh.
