I've seen plenty. Dude has a terrible offensive line and awful receivers.

If he was here, he'd be having a Dak year.
Not sure what you have been watching but doesn't matter if Wentz has the greatest team ever his accuracy is terrible. Has nothing to do with players around him when he had no touch, throws balls behind players, too high, too low, he throws into double and triple coverage. His mechanics are a huge problem that he saids doesn't need fixed. He throws off balanced many times and sees the field like a high school player. He stares at the reciever he is going too and even though his running backs average good yards they get away from running the ball.

Brady doesn't have great teams but yet he still gets it done, Romo didn't gave great teams but still got it done. Peyton missed a year with the Colts and they won 2 games. Stop with the excuses, Wentz hasn't played well and it's funny some of you still making excuses for this guy

Sure I Keep hearing that. Better hope he learns how to throw before he is out of the league cause he is a bust right now

He's a rookie. What do you expect. And from a small school. Dak is an aberration if you're comparing the two.

Matt Moore is now the starting QB in Miami. Tannehill is out for the year (ACL).

Comparisons are futile. They're both promising.

Dak has the best offensive unit in the NFL.

Wentz has a bottom third unit.

Comparisons are futile because one player has it figured out and for the other the subject is still open for considerable debate. Carson's had the support of a much better defense all season, and done very little with it. And I don't remember a lot of people thinking the Eagles had a bottom-third offensive unit earlier in the year when they were beating up on the Bears and the Browns. The talent around him has gotten considerably worse the more Wentz continues to not be able to take the next step forward. He's at a point in his season where he should be progressing, and he's regressing.

I won't quibble over the term promising, because Wentz certainly has impressive physical skills. I get why people were excited by him. But until he can positively answer the questions that are increasingly coming up about both his mechanics and his decision making, it doesn't matter. "Promising" is just another word for "hasn't done it yet." With Dak, we're seeing a lot more than promise so far. We're seeing him actually do it. That's a fairly important distinction.

Lol whatever, man. Your opinion is that Wentz is a bad quarterback and I disagree. I never said that Wentz is on the level of Dak and frankly he's not, but I don't think Wentz is a bad quarterback at all. He's not better than Dak, but he has all the tools to be a solid quarterback. If that makes me a Dak hater or Eagles fan for stating an opinion, then whatever.
He has all the tools but not the brain to use them. In the past 7 games he has 12 interceptions and those aren't tipped passes those are ones he threw to the other team. Wentz has been terrible and that's not an opinion, I'm just not caught up in potential but how he plays on the field

Isn't that just like the Bears to flirt with winning that game and then collapsing in the 4th?

Average is what he is, no more a pain than Cousins and never at the level of Eli

Again, he's a rookie from a small school. Dak has you guys spoiled. He may never even be as good as Eli but his potential is higher. I've never thought a lot of Eli although he can get hot.

Receiving group is one of the worst in the league. Can't catch, can't run routes, can't locate the ball when it's in the air.

They'll be snagging a WR high. Hopefully it's another bust like Nelson.

Need some more OL, too.

That was a shot at the board members and lack of objectivity. Last year: Everyone sucks, fire the coaching staff, trade Dez, release Beasley. This year: Everyone is great, Garrett is coach of the year, no "negativity" is allowed.

I haven't said much negative about Dak since the Ravens game. Really liked his performance there, and thought he was okay in the Commanders and Vikings games.

It's just funny to me how much this board has shifted and how all the cynics here suddenly became the biggest homers. I, and a few others last year, said you get a decent QB in here and we would have won most of the games we lost last year.
Fair. Im just enjoying the season and could care less what other posters posting history is, just glad were on the same bandwagon. But I understand where your coming from, for me it could be Romo or Moore qbing and I'd still be euphoric about the season. Enjoy the season these special ones don't come along too often.

Well technically he's a pain now. Only it's the eagles fans feeling the pain

That's true but there's a lot more wrong with the Eagles than Wentz being a rookie. Wentz has the tools to develop and I think he will. I hope I'm wrong and he's a bust there then goes to the AFC and does well.

The early judgment one way or another on any QB with 12 games experience is humorous to say the least. Let these show constituency and continued development over years and then compare away.
