Early Games Thread

The skill players aren't the issue. They have some talent, not great but still good enough but yet excuse after excuse for Wentz. You're right about the brains but I would add he had bad habits and he won't change neater he doesn't believe it's a problem

That's where coaching should be able to help. Gotta strip the kid of those bad habits. We've seen some of Daks bad habits showing but he's got coaches working with him. I don't know much about Doug as a coach or who the QB coach is of the Eagles, but I hope they don't fix them because I hate the eagles. But for a prospect I do like Wentz skill set, but that's about it.

I know we need the Giants to lose, but what else do we need here? Haven't kept up, been arguing over none sense.

Harris did the same thing vs Dallas last week.

They added this rule a few years back.

Penalty: 15 yards from spot of foul and fair catch is awarded. A player who signals for a fair catch is not required to catch the ball. However, if a player signals for a fair catch, he may not block or initiate contact with any player on the kicking team until the ball touches a player

Wasn't aware of that.

However, it also says:
  1. If ball hits ground or is touched by member of kicking team in flight, fair catch signal is off and all rules for a kicked ball apply.
Did the ball hit the ground? I actually don't think so. More luck in not having a penalty called. Mara sold his soul to the devil.

I believe that he can block once the ball goes over him, same as touching the ground. I am not 100% certain.....

I am not sure it is definitely possible it hit the ground before he contacted the player.
