Exactly they will make excuses for any mistake that Wentz makes and hype up any decent play that Wentz makes. While at the same time downplaying Dak's good games/stats/plays and will look for any flaw that Dak made during the game to bash him, even if we won that game.

Needing to downplay Dak in order to uplift Wentz is why some make the comment about Cowboys fans being secret Iggles fans on this board.

And people don’t need to downplay Wentz to build up Dak. Dak’s play thus far speaks for itself to anybody that actually knows football.

Not downplaying Wentz, I said that I could give him credit for being a good QB. But, I'm not going to act like he is the greatest QB to ever put on a uniform, while acting like Dak isn't talented and good himself.

I think the constant comparison is utterly ridiculous. Wentz was the 2 pick. There really is no comparison, and the fact people are comparing at least us Dallas fans speaks volume about how surprising Prescott has been.

I am a realist though, and there's a reason these 2 quarterbacks were not drafted in the same area code. You can see that without being a homer, or accused of being an Eagles fan.

Their draft status should be completely irrelevant. They were drafted last year. Both have established themselves as legit starters and only thing that matters is how they lead their respective teams.

Dak is better. Any football fan can see that if they just watch the games
