Early games thread

wow.
What a turnaround vs Jacksonville

1st it looked like the got a turnover for a score and possibly the win
Then they move into FG range for the tie and get called for taunting after penalty and get pushed back
Next play, Bortles throws a possible game-ending pick

Still not over yet though

Bosa with a dumb penalty. Late hit on the QB. Moves the jags in better position for a FG

Saints look really ******* good. Brees with a running game and solid defense? Yikes.

I was hoping sean payton was let go at the end of their season and we somehow some way sign him and get rid of garrett. I guess they will probably keep Sean Payton now.

I agree with that. Saints have Kamara+Ingram, though, and both are capable of causing trouble. I think with our D line and Lee in the fold, we should be able to hold down the run game not too badly.

Then there's Brees, of course. But I agree in that I think we matchup with them decently.
We have to stop the run first and make them throw so our vaunted (crazy right) pass rush can tee off. Overall we are the better team both on offense and defense. Would be playoff football though and Brees has the experience

In the early 2000s teams like the Rams and Titans were really good then they sucked for many years now the draft cycle caught up and they are good again.

Yea, they'll have to beat us through Brees.

If the Jags had a decent QB they would actually be a damn good team... that Defense is nasty and they have some weapons on offense. Bortles is really holding them and back.

Side note*: Bosa is a monster off the edge. He's always in the backfield.

What a defensive play. Jags win, despite Bortles' suckage.
