Early Games Thread

to be honest, I don’t think many would watch it anyway. Couple of turd teams playing way too early. I don’t why I’m watching.

Yeah, i am not getting it.....and actually not complaining either. Whoever decided to have Denver playing all these prime time games or national/international games should be fired. Probably the same person who wanted to change IHOP to IHOB:muttley:

Denver kicker doesn’t even take a running start. Not sure I’ve seen that.

It’s hard to believe that Russell Wilson would stink so bad in a timing offense where he just needs accuracy. He really stinks there. In Seattle, it was lots of running and then him scrambling and finding guys deep. I never would have expected a guy viewed as one of the proven elite QBs to be so bad in Denver.

That said, I love seeing Denver with a total failure after all the media hype when the trade took place, anointing them as a SB contender, and I’m thrilled that the Browns suck this year. I hope the Browns suck until Watson is gone.

From what it sounds like all Denver games for the reest of the season are demos of their players for other teams to trade for….
Trade deadline is Tuesday; does anyone know when NFL teams will be able to trade again?
Is it after the Super Bowl, or when the 2023 NFL calender begins?

It sucks we don't get to play Denver this year. It would be nice to beat them once and I think this is the year the Cowboys would beat them. I don't know about ya'll but I hold a special hatred in my heart for Denver as a Cowboys fan. I want to play them. I want the Cowboys to pounce them. Until they do, my heart won't be settled.

I think a few weeks before FA starts or so. When the 2023 league starts again I am not sure, probably around that same time.

Wow…..no Brown, Zeke, Hill, or Williams…..I actually think those are serious losses on both sides of the ball. This is going to be a tough game, in my opinion.

With Brown out Tolbert could get a look in the No. 3 receiver role behind Lamb and Gallup.

At least right now it looks like the Wilson trade was a really bad deal for Denver that will haunt them for years to come but hard to blame them as the last time they went all in a vet state QB while they had a pretty good D they ended up with a SB ring.

Understandable. They always seem to destroy us lately.

Jacksonville just can’t crawl out of the dumpster. Lawrence isn’t looking like the guy so far.

I've read a lot of "just draft a QB in the first round" and was told Lawrence is a "generational talent" who can't miss.

It appears finding a QB isn't as easy as some think. We'll see another first rounder from 2021 in about half an hour.

Game was ugly. First half was trash but the 4th quarter gave you something to watch while waiting for the real show.
