Early Games Thread

If the Eagles lose today and/or the Giants or Cowboys win today, then the NFC East isn't going to look as locked up for Philly as some fans thought it was a few weeks ago.
They only said that because they thought Colts and Commanders were locks. You lose to the Commanders....now all of as sudden you start looking at teams who can run the football who might give them potential L's...now them running away with the division isn't as likely. Plus injuries do happen and they are already missing Goedert. But those doom and gloom fans don't think about stuff like this.

Adoree Jackson hurt returning a punt don't know how bad.

Johnathan Taylor still running over Philly defense.

The Eagles right guard isn't set when they snap the ball. I've noticed this for weeks. Why are they getting away with this? Isn't this a penalty?
Man I just saw a replay I Was like with that guy isn't set at all. Didn't notice it until I saw that replay.

Lots of fans living in the moment and somehow believing that this Eagles team is different than all of those NFL teams who started off 7-0, 8-0 or better in recent seasons and still came up way short of making it to the Super Bowl. Some of them even losing in their first playoff game if that season. Had someone on this forum disagreeing with me, when I pointed out how lots of fans in and the NFL media had the Cardinals as the run away favorites to make it to the Super Bowl in the NFC, because of how they started undefeated in the first half of the season. That fan insisted on the Eagles being different than last season's Cardinals team.

The Rams could go from winning the Super Bowl to missing the playoffs. I believe the last Super Bowl team to accomplish that was the 2016 Broncos.

Someone posted a week or two ago about how it's rarely the teams who start out great who end up winning the Super Bowl (@Bobhaze I believe?). Hopefully the Eagles steam is starting to run out.

if i drank i would hold glass high
